Overlooking Hamilton Harbor, this luxury waterfront hotel features an infinity pool with Hamilton Harbor views and floating sun loungers; and 4 on-site restaurants, the Crown & Anchor, Marcus, 1609... Everything was amazing. We had dinner at Marcus both nights and it was very delicious. We had breakfast at Crown and Anchor both mornings and it hit the spot. We arranged a day at the SPA and Leah Furbert was the best, nice and very generous. I'll definitely come back for her services. Everything has been above average. No serious complaints just memories.
Offering rooms set in coral-colored 19th-century manor houses, Royal Palms Hotel is 0.6 mi from Hamilton Marina and Yacht Club. This was a celebration of our 50th wedding aniversary and it could not have been better. The hotel was amazing, the staff was the best we have ever experienced, The weather was perfect, the food and service at Ascots was superb. Overall this was a 10 all the way we love this hotel and its staff,
Featuring free WiFi throughout the property, Oxford House offers accommodations in Hamilton. All rooms are fitted with a flat-screen TV. Certain units feature a seating area where you can relax. Very comfortable room.... Old Bermuda Style. Staff friendly and helpful.... Situation is perfect to get in to town.
Surrounded by gardens, Edgehill Manor Guest House offers sea views, an outdoor pool and free continental breakfast. It is a 10-minute walk from the Royal Bermuda Yacht Club and Point Pleasant Park. Pretty, well-kept grounds. Nice sized room with standard amenities (hairdryer, fridge, microwave). Though I didn’t meet staff in person, Lana was very accessible by email and very accommodating. Nice pool area and many areas to lounge outdoors. Close proximity to Front Street. Glad I found this place, I would return!
Featuring accommodations with a patio, Sunset Paradise Vacation Home is located in Hamilton. The ease of booking the reservation and the accommodations were very complete in every way. Short safe walk to the bus stop that gives you access to the entire Island
Located in Pembroke, Cavendish Heights Suites features a garden and terrace. There is a barbecue and guests can make use of free WiFi and free private parking. Brand new accommodation in a fantastic location - easy walking distance to downtown Hamilton with its great restaurants, cafes and shopping. Very safe neighbourhood. The Black Watch Pass suite was spacious and had all the amenities one would need for a short-term business stay or vacation if you prefer to self-cater. Owen and Charlene were attentive hosts and went out of their way to help us out during our stay. Great service!!
Part of the hotel is renovated and I initially had a not renovated room. I couldn't open the windows of the room. When I complained I got a different room looking more towards the street and air conditioning engines which were loud during the night. At 699 $ the night totally below expectations!
Plenty of places to eat on the front. Selection of expensive and touristy shops. Bus terminal for buses to take you all over the island. Ferry terminal to take you to Dockyard and on to St. George's.
I booked this hotel because of their beach, and I was right! The beach is absolutely fantastic.I would add a ferry between both Fairmont hotels, and maybe a couple of ferries from the hotel marina around Bermuda, but i would be just a little cherry on the icing on the perfect cake
Too many changes since years ago. Not to the benefit of friendly locals. With the wealth of foreign investment, local business appears non-existent now too commercialised and rent for locals is sky-high.
The island is extremely expensive especially if you are visiting from America. A appetizer cost between 12-16 dollars and everything goes up from there. The locals are welcoming, friendly and helpful. Due to the dockyard the island is geared more towards tourists then its own people. I’d say this island is definitely for family vacation or business purposes only.
Pleasant city, which unfortunately clears out at night. Good restaurants and shopping. Excellent base to explore the entire island using the local bus system. Very nice waterfront, good facilities (public toilets, water refill stations). Pedestrian friendly. And the people are terrific -- polite, friendly, helpful. But it is pricey.
