Even some of the furniture is made of salt.
Food was delicious, it takes some time as it is prepared once it is ordered, but you place your order ahead of time

South KoreaThe room and lobby is large enough and always clean. The room has a small kitchen including refridge, microwave and sink. Hot water is coming out right away. The breakfast was delicious!
Most of all, the staff Jose, was really kind. He was working alone while we were staying. He did everything including reception, housekeeping and breakfast. Even though he was hard working, he was always smiling and well organized.
One day we were back to hotel from the tour at night, he helped us to ask for pick up next early morning, and brought us hot milk before we slept. Plus, when we had to check out early in the morning, he prepared breakfast early for us.

From here, you can explore highlights such as Colchani, Isla Incahuasi, the colourful lagoons, the Dali Desert, the Ollagüe volcano viewpoint, the national park, and the impressive Valle de Rocas.

Cute town, although the real attraction are the nearby salt flats. To be honest, I was not sure I would visit during my trip to Bolivia since Uyuni is far and the flights were expensive, but I am so glad I did. The Salt flats were absolutely breathtaking and an experience like no other. The Salar de Uyuni is truly a unique and special place that should be on everyone's bucket list.

Loved this hotel its unique, great location and very big free breakfast buffet. They let us checkin early and also arranged an airport taxi for us. Rooms are really really big and comfy. Only downfall is not every room has ac so we actually switched rooms. Both equally nice. Would recommend to stay here! We had only one night and booked a day trip to the salt flats. One night in the town of Uyuni was enough for us as it’s kind of in shambles.

Salar is just an amazing place, a wonder the Word!
Salar is just an amazing place, a wonder the Word! Both when dry, as well as when flooded.
Uyuni town very ugly, avoid it is possible, full of dirty roads and dirt in the air, if you are sensitive or allergic, do not go downtown and stay in one of the 3 nicests salt hotels in the Salar outside town.
Best restaurant in town is Tika, in the hotel Jardin of Uyuni (nice hotel too)

Great place for stay one week if you go for some Tours... If not three nights are enough...
We past by and made one tour which was nice....salar de Uyuni was great
Publick market is a must..

We stayed here twice, either side of our 3-day trip into the salt flats. Everything was perfect, the hotel has lots of lounge areas, each one with a fire which is so welcome because Uyuni is a cold city. Rooms are lovely, comfortable and clean. We wouldn’t consider staying anywhere else if we returned to Uyuni. Special mention to the lady on reception (unfortunately we didn’t catch her name), unbelievably helpful and efficient, she went out of her way to make our two stays even more enjoyable.

Super clean hostel with very comfortable beds. Breakfast was good and the social spaces were really big. Staff were very friendly and helpful, they offer cash withdrawal/exchange services which was extremely useful as cash is king in Bolivia! Hot showered and warm inside the hostel, really liked it all round.

An idyllic little hotel right in the heart of Uyuni. I wish I could have stayed longer - the room was so comfortable and charming. It was also nice and warm as the staff provided extra heaters and blankets. The breakfast was lovely and the staff was so friendly and accommodating throughout my stay.

Beautifully decorated, gigantic room which was warm and comfortable, very good breakfast, nice steam room and additional spa facilities to relax after touring the Uyuni salt flats. Staff were also super nice and location is great. I can definitely recommend this hotel.
