A poorly maintained city with old and neglected buildings; just look at the building that houses the city hall. There are no crosswalks on the streets, and drivers are reckless in traffic, as if they're always trying to save their father from the gallows.

Bagé is a very charming city, quite peaceful and with a good number of nightlife bars. It's a good city to relax in, enjoy the history of Rio Grande do Sul in its houses and streets, and have fun.

It has a commercial sector that stands out for its good service and friendly staff. Restaurants offer good cuisine and attentive service. Traffic flows well on the streets and avenues, making travel easy.

The city has some good attractions, but they only operate on...

The city has some good attractions, but they only operate on weekdays during business hours. It's difficult to find comfortable accommodation in a quiet environment. Contacting local tourism agencies is very difficult. The only one out of five I tried to contact that responded was the one recommended by the guesthouse where I stayed. There are few quality restaurants open at night.

A unique city, with its entire center listed as a historical...

A unique city, with its entire center listed as a historical landmark, it preserves beautiful buildings dating from the early 20th century. The rural area is very beautiful, possessing a unique biome in Brazil, the Pampa Gaúcho, and the sunsets are certainly among the most beautiful in the country.

Bagé is the largest city in the region, and we've only been...

Bagé is the largest city in the region, and we've only been there for business, but unfortunately, each time we visit, it seems to go backward. It's a poorly preserved historical city that needs general care, and unfortunately, it's not worthwhile for tourism. Its beautiful squares are abandoned, and its main avenue (Santa Tecla) already gives a glimpse of what you'll find in the city.
