We only spent the night in the city.
We only spent the night in the city. We left Balneário Picarras heading towards Punta del Este. There was a pub/bar nearby where we had dinner and it was great! The hotel we stayed at, Hotel Bartz, is close to the highway and met our expectations.

We visited Camaquá on this trip and stayed one night to rest...
We visited Camaquá on this trip and stayed one night to rest after our return journey from Florianópolis to Uruguay. We were surprised by the size of the city and the number of shops in the center. There were nice clothing and shoe stores, several huge supermarkets with good prices, and bakeries and pastry shops with delicious treats. We were pleasantly surprised.

A very peaceful city with a good location.
A very peaceful city with a good location. Freshwater beach (Lagoa dos Patos) 33 km from Camaquã. Small and cozy beach. The hotel restaurant is excellent and the "Roxo" complex, with restaurant, supermarket, snack bar and parking lot, is also spectacular and worth a visit. The Girardi Galeto and Pizzeria is also an excellent option. Few hotel options.
