The rooms are nice with some a simple fare and good sized full, maybe queen sized beds, led tv mounted high, tiny 4x8” 3-way speaker you can operate with an external digital device. They deliver breakfast every morning into a front cubicle they unlock from the hallway, so they can’t enter room. The door lockset, is a finicky Samsung battery device. It’s different but touching screen to wake it, a hit and miss affair sometimes. But it seems secure though. Breakfast can be either scrambled eggs, to cut up hotdogs in tomato sauce - their choice not yours. Fresh fruit, maybe pound cake slice, fruit juice, and always bread roll and 1 slice thin ham lunch meat and same type cheese, coffee and milk in thermoses. Bathroom nice but shower takes time for hot water to achieve temperature. Staff good polite and cordial, great bunch.

The hotel is good, the staff is excellent, the room was spacious and clean, abd breakfast was excellent. On the 1st night there, our sheet barely covered the mattress. Once I mentioned that in the morning, the sheet was changed for a larger one, that did not come off during the night, and the rest of the stay was very good.

Known as the 'Jewel of the Mantiqueira,' Piracaia derives its name from the indigenous people of the region and translates to 'fried fish.' I was born and raised in Piracaia, a charming town nestled in the Mantiqueira Mountains. Though I've been away for the past 25 years, it seems to have retained much of its original charm. Piracaia is also renowned for its beautiful church, which features a remarkable fresco painting of all the popes on the ceiling. Furthermore, Piracaia is blessed with numerous beautiful dams throughout the region. These dams are integral to the regional water circuit and play a crucial role in supplying water to the megacity of São Paulo. Worth a visit..

A city with attractions worth visiting, we only stayed one...

A city with attractions worth visiting, we only stayed one day and didn't get to do much, but I did get to visit a nice, very authentic restaurant, I saw the city's viewpoint where you can have a happy hour in the afternoon, there's a distillery that I loved, the place and its owners, in short, a city to spend a very fun weekend.

A very welcoming city, we were treated very well in the shops and by the residents, who gave us tips on leisure activities. It has waterfalls, reservoirs and lots of nature. Excellent for recharging your batteries. Very close to São Paulo with excellent roads. I highly recommend it.

Beautiful, calm, and absolutely well-maintained city! A gift for those who wish to relax and stroll in a welcoming place! Easy access and exquisite, well-preserved architecture. A tip and suggestion: The farmers' market on Friday afternoons next to the church is unmissable... Exceptional products "made" by locals, with indescribable quality and flavor!
