Threadbare sheets and bleach stained small towel. Stained walls and wobbly hard beds, mercifully no bed bugs.
I could not stay for the 2 nights I had to pay for.

Although one can state that Teresópolis has already become a big city, it hosts one of the most impressive and fantastic Brazilian Nature Park, the Parque Nacional da Serra dos Órgãos - PARNASO , regarded as a paradise for those who are definitely fond of climbing, trekking and even a light ride into the park. Located only 100km far from Rio de Janeiro, the city can be fairly covered in a day-off from Rio, especially if you leave very early, in order to optimize and enjoy the ride the most. Teresópolis is always a very pleasant destiny while in Rio.

Teresópolis is a beautiful mountain town.
Teresópolis is a beautiful mountain town. It's quaint and something like a movie! I absolutely loved the market and the mall! Its a different vibe from Rio and such a place of relaxation and beauty!

Fantastic location, close to bars, restaurants and the weekend market in town, as well as walking distance to the magnificent National Park, which was our main reason for visiting Teresopolis. Luisa is truly lovely and welcomed us warmly. We enjoyed her wonderful homemade orange cake and coffee for breakfast. The apartment was extremely clean, warm, secure and well appointed. The garden is beautiful. Wifi was strong and reliable. We will definitely be back!

A big plus is that the pousada is in a very good location near the Algaoas National Park and as my major purpose of going to Teresopolis was to do some great walking in that park, 5 hour duration, staying at the pousada was very convenient. The room was basic but quite comfortable and I eventually found that the hot shower wax good. Breakfast was fine.

Modern “international” style hotel. Big room with safe, big bed. All expected hotel room facilities. Dinner was good with a comprehensive menu and very reasonably priced. Breakfast offered an exceptional range of items. Parking cost extra in the attached covered carpark. Very pleasing stay, no issues.

We were very well welcomed by a young man. He offered probably the best customer service that we had during our trip in Brazil. The facilities for kids were great. The hotel was quiet and we had a beautiful view on the montains. We really enjoyed our stay. Gret location. We walked to have diner.
