Calico Jack's Resort was a fantastic place to stay for our family of 2x adults, 2x kids (12 & 9). The 2 bedroom villa had separate bedrooms with 2x single beds for the kids and their own ensuite. The other bedroom had a kingsize bed with ensuite. Air conditioning in both bedrooms and the living room which worked well. A small fridge, kettle, microwave, coffee maker (with a little coffee provided), crockery & cutlery, 5 gallon jug of water (refilled free of charge if required), TV, free WiFi. The resort offered a pool (with hummingbirds feeding), restaurant with great local food, and importantly onsite activities! Fabulous ziplines, rapelling (abseiling), jungle swing, jungle walks, option to head off site for cave tubing. Staff were all fabulous! Highly recommend for a family adventure stay near San Ignacio!

The lodge is in the middle of the jungle. You wake up with the howler monkeys, you can have breakfast with the hummingbirds, you can go tubing on the river, visit the farm, make an excursion, and have a night walk to see all the creepy creatures of the jungle. For an ecolodge, the rooms are equipped very well. You get towels for muddy shoes, you have umbrellas, you have a lot of fans, you have good Wifi, you get a flashlight and even a mobile phone. Huts have mosquito nets, but outside insect repellent might occasionally be necessary (not always and not everywhere though).

Surrounded by jungle, Crystal Paradise Resort is located outside of San Ignacio and boasts on-site hiking trails and tour guides. It also offers free Wi-Fi, bird watching and swimming.

The Tut family were amazing hosts, very friendly and helpful. They scheduled amazing tours for our family that my teenagers really loved, especially the ATM cave tour. The rooms were great, the food was delicious, and we felt very at ease. Would definitely stay there again.

Hidden Valley proved idyllic for my wife and me. The location, high up in the Mayo Mountains, is unique, with endless picturesque trails that take you to beautiful waterfalls and clear blue pools where you can swim to cool off, all the time surrounded by a huge variety of colourful birds. The accommodation couldn’t be better, well furnished with comfortable beds and good hot showers. The food is superb, the coffee perfect, and the staff friendly and helpful, with a commendable approach to conservation and nature.

Located in San Ignacio, The West House Boutique Hotel provides a bar. There is a terrace and guests can make use of free WiFi and free private parking.

This hotel is new, just opened in June 2024. The facilities are in excellent shape. Rooms are spacious with a large deck area. Beds are comfortable, and linens are fresh and new. The location is very good, within a short distance to numerous excellent restaurants. Staff are friendly and very helpful.

We had an awesome stay at the lodge! Everyone is super friendly and so helpful! They can organize and book many tours for you or just recommend things to do. The room we had was very clean and the food at the restaurant is great! The pool was refreshing! The lodge is directly next to the Mayan ruins Cahal Pech, which is definitely worth visiting! Highly recommended!!! You can see and feel that the lodge is maintained and led with love!
