The lobby was absolutely charming with the Scottish decor. The gentleman at the reception desk greeted my sister and me warmly and provided instructions regarding the bistro and room location. The room was bright and clean and easily accessible.

Best breakfast we had on our Canadian trip. The home made muffins and scones were delicious The accommodation was also the best we came across. The owners know how to make travellers comfortable. Our stay coincided with the arrival of the strongest storm to hit Eastern Canada and the owner found us accommodation in which to see our the storm

Economy room small but well appointed. Nice grounds with comfortable seats outside. But the breakfast was particularly well thought out—you got an amount and could select what each person wanted within that budget. Then eat in your room or outside.

These are really cool, cleverly engineered spaces. I rated staff as neutral because I never actually interacted with anyone but the code transfer was smooth and accurate. Great location with lots available around it.

Antigonish has its own vibe going on.

Antigonish has its own vibe going on. Very friendly, laid back with all the amenities of a big city. I will definitely visit again. Loved the bakery and restaurant attached to the Hotel. Homemade gives comforting feeling on a road trip. If I win the Lottery I will move there. LOL I want to see more on the next visit!

It was a beautiful new facility, but because of poor construction the walls and floors were not insulated properly. I did not get a good night's sleep because of the guest above me. I could here them walking around, talking etc. Finally called front desk and complained

Ended up here during Fiona, although we had no power, (no fault of hotel) the staff made it as comfortable as they could for us in a very difficult situation. I would certainly stay here again the next time we're through.

Very small, nicely located for beaches (if you are lucky with the weather). But other than that nothing else to do there. A few shops and restaurants, close early. No touristy shops. ** water tastes better than in Halifax !! ** lovely drive around the cape to New Glasgow - very scenic.

The convenience of being close to Riverside Speedway and Highway was a plus. However I would suggest to add more garbage containers in the room area(especially beside the coffee station) and another box of kleenex in the room area as well. The fridge is oddly placed in the closet and would make much more sense to place it beside the bathroom door and place the luggage stand in closet where it belongs.

The simplicity of arrival, room entry and quietness Seems like a throw back to the 60’s which was special time for my wife and I Every item required was available So much more enjoyable than impersonal hotels I wish the owners continued success
