Featuring free WiFi, Eganridge Resort, Country Club & Spa offers accommodations in Bobcaygeon. Nice place for a weekend getaway. We stayed in one of the cabins which was nice and private. We had dinner on site both nights (upstairs and down) which was very good, overlooking the property and lake. We also played some rounds of golf. Overall it was a great weekend!
Located in Fenelon Falls in the Ontario region and Chemong Lake reachable within 28 miles, Family Relaxation Place for 2-15 People - 4 Lakeview Cottages with Real Sandy Swimming Beach, Dock, Boats,... It is a fantastic place! My kids enjoyed swimming every day, the nature is immaculate and beautiful! We roasted marshmallows on the firepit under the starry night sky, watched the sunset on the beach, and had a lot of fun watching the wild animals. Overall, great experience!
COVID RESTRICTIONS BEFORE YOU RESERVE The safety of all our guests is of utmost importance to us.All guests must be fully vaccinated at least two weeks prior to arrival. The property was beautiful and the decor authentic. The hosts were wonderful & very welcoming. They cooked delicious breakfasts every morning then sent us home with baked goods!

My family and I did not run into many issues at all. Most people are polite, willing to talk but like any place there are others who'd rather you not be there (maybe they falsely thought we were from Toronto, I don't really know but we are local to Kawartha Lakes). Best places to walk through: Settler's Village (they had a neat scavenger hunt our kids enjoyed when we went through). The beach attached to the locks makes for some different pathway options more interesting than most towns or even cities. Bolten St. has many shops and great dining. Best places to eat at: Full Cup Cafe (Big "EAT" sign, can't miss it driving or walking through). Cajun Chicken, The Taphouse, and Luigi's are also great places to try. Lakeside Chineese is hit or miss, clearly there are cooks that are passionate and others who don't care as much; still worth a try. Best place to stay: Gordon's Cottages and Marina. So nice it's nearly impossible to book a stay there, I guess I got lucky. Best places to shop: Home Hardware - staff is nice and will help you find whatever you need. We personally found London Trading Post one of the best clothing options if you are into that style. Honorary mentions; if you into boating there's plenty of places to dock and rent. Great place for fishing. Oddness: Eerily quiet after 11 even at pubs. Unless you count Settlers Village as a museum I don't know of any other place as I didn't have time to check it out, but I can vouch for Settlers Village being creative and fun no matter the season you go.
Bobcaygeon is a lovely little town with a small, but good quality, selection of restaurants and little shops. It has beautiful river and lakeside walks and is the home of the Kawartha Settlers Village museum. This is a must-see place! It is the most amazing museum/village we have ever visited. Can't recommend it more highly.
Picturesque town on the water. Similar to Niagara on the Lake, but smaller and frequented by many boaters. Lots of little shops - boutique-types that are rather expensive. Excellent ice cream! Be careful when selecting a hotel -especially the 'Inn' variety. One we stayed in had likely last been updated in the early 80's...
I found the town was easy to park in, and easy to walk around and sight see. The stores offered a variety of goods and services, and places to just sit back relax, and see people and boats and many things.
What an amazing little town people are very kind and in True Canadian hospitality. Beautiful little stores we went there for their Fall Fair had a great time. Food lots of places to eat. Great location to travel around to other towns in the area. Will gladly go back to Bobcaygeon.
We had planned to see things but left town immediately to find a hotel in Peterborough. We did stop at a few other places in Bobcageon but no one was around to check in or there was a “back in 15 minutes” note on the door.
The view was lovely. Close to Bobcaygeon. Dining room staff terrific. We had four dinners there, three good, one mediocre. Room very nice. Coffee and muffins at front desk a nice touch though we had to ask a couple of times for the room supply of coffee to be replenished.
