There were several highlights. Serge and Dominique are the most friendly, generous, and helpful hosts you will ever meet. They are available to help or respond to anything, but at the same time completely give you your own space and distance as you wish. The place is immaculate and gorgeously decorated and appointed. Everything it top quality and focused on your comfort and enjoyment. The setting is stunningly beautiful overlooking the lake and with a path down to the pier, a fire pit, picnic table and other vantage points. Within a short drive are trailheads with varying degrees of difficulty that suited me really well with the endpoints being spectacular vistas high above the forests and lakes below. The Provincial Park has a recreational spot just a short drive away where one could rent canoes or kayaks. I spent quite a bit of quiet relaxed time on the back terrace reading a book or just watching the birds.

Very nicely laid out with excellent kitchen. Also had washer and dryer available which we appreciated as we were cycling and needed a wash.

amazing staff, the host was very friendly and helpful, quiet location even though it was a busy weekend, very clean chalet and surroundings, comfortable beds, basics were there in the kitchen, rental price for kayaks was reasonable
