The concierge / receptionist (same one both times I’ve been there) was outstanding. He asked us about ourselves, what brought us here, if we needed a late checkout & was considerate about asking us if we needed to be away from noisier / crowded areas of the hotel so we could relax more.

Fredericton is a nice city easy to get around in the worst part about staying at the Fredericton inn is actually getting into the place , there is no break in the decider to enter across from the other side of the road so you have to turn around and come back from the other direction to enter

Definitely worth a visit!

Definitely worth a visit! Quiet city with many cultural and religious attractions. My children noticed the very tasty ice cream, everywhere and the excellently arranged and maintained parks. The people on the streets are very friendly. The shops and shopping centers are overflowing with abundance and advantageous offers. Comparatively low prices, including for fuel (the lowest). The authorities do not charge parking on weekends, holidays and at certain times, which makes the tourist attractions extremely accessible and attractive. We parked for free and walked a lot, we visited many places. Easy city to fly around, without much traffic, and the police do not bother you. Very welcoming, very friendly city, with many places to visit. Definitely, it is worth including in tourist itineraries, being a pearl of the province of New-Brunswick.

This was our third trip to Frederickton.

This was our third trip to Frederickton. It’s a gem of a town. Love the museum, the walking bridge, the parks, the views, the shops including The Artisan District, Hattis and The Gallery, all found on Queen Street. Don’t miss Chess Piece Coffee Shop and Moco for terrific Italian food. Of course one has to sit at Picaroons Brewery Company for a beer, snacks and a relaxed afternoon!

Fredericton is a very historical old city (1784).

Fredericton is a very historical old city (1784). Many beautifully preserved homes from the troubled period of the American revolution. Most of the population today are descendant of Loyalist stock, a large royal heritage in its building permeates the city, leafy avenues, a large Cathedral modelled on Exeter, UK. The world famous Beaverbrook Art Museum, the beautiful St-John River, many good restaurants. A very walkable city. So much on offer.

Walking tour of the Garrison area was very nice. Visitor Info was hard to find. Heads up Fredericton and all Eastern Canada ..... Put some money into installing road and street name signs (both of them) on DIAGONAL street corners throughout the entire city. No street names, or the one located directly above your head that you CANNOT see from your car - as you're watching lights, pedestrians, traffic and GPS in unfamiliar territory. IS NOT HELPFUL So I left ..........

We were only passing through on our way to North Sydney, NS, and ultimately to Newfoundland. We had visited, and stayed in, Fredericton back in 2009, when we really enjoyed our time there. Fredericton is the capital of New Brunswick (since 1785), so there are a lot of historical places, museums, parks and other interesting things to see there. It is also where you will find the Reversing Falls Rapids on the St. John River.

This is an amazing place. It is run by a husband and wife and they are incredible. Breakfasts were superb. We were offered little extras when we arrived back at the end of the day - such a nice thing to do. The local knowledge of the owners was extremely helpful to us as we did not know Fredericton. The location was an easy walk to downtown and the river. The attention to detail in every aspect of the rooms and the property in general is quite remarkable. Highly recommend ! Will definitely try and book again if we are in the area.

After driving 4hours to arrive at 9pm to chek in they refuse to give me the room for my family because i didn't have a real credit card for deposit did not offer anything else then the answer no i had a family with me with no other hotel they could of did a exception other hotels took me in with a cash deposit to be refunded after the stay only a heartless human says no to a family never again will i go here i had been there before with my wife only i choose the hotel because i went before guess time changes things.

We did not stay for breakfast die to early checkout. Staff was very good. However, the mattresses need changing; worn out. There was not paper or pen available like in other Days Inns . Air conditioning didn't seem to work well, the room got very hot during the night even though it was set at 20. All in all, the room and hotel seemed run down.

Breakfast was fast, full of quality choices and in a good location with lots of seating. Front desk staff were helpful and efficient. Hotel was generally clean. Elevators were fast and smooth. Fun fact - the rooms are named after different cities around the globe!
