Centrally located in Lunenburg, Nova Scotia, this B&B features an on-site pond and gardens. Guest rooms come with a private bathroom. Our hostess was very welcoming and gave a great tour of her house explaining where everything was and what was available to us. Homemade cookies, coffee and tea provided all day. She also provided lots of information about the area. Book shelves were well stocked with travel information about local area as well as the province. Many books by local authors were also available. Breakfast was amazing! It was a home away from home! Thank you so much for a wonderful visit!

Overlooking Lunenburg Harbor, this B&B is a restored 1886 mansion. The museums, shops and restaurants of Lunenburg town center can be found within 5 minutes' walk. This had to be the cleanest Inn we have ever stayed in! We were celebrating our anniversary and at check-in we found a bottle of Prosecco and delicious heart shaped cakes in our room. The breakfasts are huge and tasty! The owners are very helpful with suggestions on what to do in the area. Best bed and breakfast that we stayed in during our visit to Nova Scotia!
The Mariner King Inn consists of 3 buildings ; the Main Historic Inn with reception and breakfast area, the "Cranberry building" with an elevator and the "Candy Apple" building. A lovely historic hotel, superb room and gorgeous breakfast. A very central location in Lunenburg.

Located in East LaHave, Toba's Bed & Breakfast offers accommodations with free WiFi and flat-screen TV, as well as a garden and a shared lounge. The owner’s are delightful: friendly, accommodating, cordial, gracious and willing to go above and beyond to ensure the complete satisfaction of their guests. They prepared a separate meal each morning to accommodate our dietary requirements. When we asked if there was a possibility of extending our stay, they found a way to rearrange a personal guest to make it happen.
Lunenburg was a stop over for one night before we headed off for Canning. Unfortunately rainy but we made the best of it. Wandered a little, little bit of shopping and browsing. Ate at the Grand Banker. Great scallops for an oh so reasonable price. Bartender and waitstaff very nice.
This very old town has amazing history. I recommend reading the history of the town before you get there so you don't miss out on any historic sites. We stayed at the Lennox Tavern which is a UNESCO historic site. It was an amazing experience as it was like going back in time. The old tavern has been restored to its original state and I mean litteraly. The breakfast was good but the owner could've been more attentive to the guests. He was alone mine you to serve 2 tables but we only had 2 pieces of toasts between 6 of us and we had to ask the other table for their pot of coffee. Nevertheless it was a pleasant experience and make sure to read the resume he leaves in the bedroom to appreciate the hard work the owner has put into restoring it to its original state. Amazing!
A Nova Scotia gem, must see maritime location, home of the Bluenose ship stamped on every dime! Many eating places of excellent quality and value. Park and walk, great to have pedestrians take precedence over traffic. All buildings regardless of age are well maintained. It is a U.N.E.S.C.O. Heritage designation destination, well deserved!
We enjoyed our time in Lunenburg very much. Friendly people and lots to see.the town is a historical gold mine. It's beautiful and was enjoyable to wander through the buildings. There are lots of hills so you get a work out. We ate at the ice house restaurant. It's in the red building onto the dock. We had the seafood medaly twice because it was that good . We went on the sail boat for a two hour trip. That was a blast, we caught a nice strong wind and really moved. We booked it at the dock in the red kiosk , for that day.
Very scenic town with some very nice restaurants. We love to stroll the waterfront. The local distillery (Ironworks) has some excellent products especially their rum. There are restaurants for every price level. The last time in town our group ate at the Fish Shack and had lobster rolls, fish and chips, clams and chips and scallops and chips. Everything was done just right. Breakfast at the Savvy Sailor is a must.
A stunning looking town - beautiful buildings and a foodies heaven. Great coffee, amazing restaurants. Also loved the boutiques and friendly locals. Stay awhile. Get a bike and ride to Mahone Bay! Fabulous ...

I really enjoyed my stay here. I didn't find it too noisy, and it's close to the waterfront and many shops and dining options. My bed was comfortable, and the bathroom was very clean. I enjoyed the breakfast as well; keep in mind it's a cold buffet breakfast with cold cuts, fruit, bread/pastries, etc. It was more than enough for me. Benjamin at the front desk is very courteous and knowledgeable, giving me great recommendations for restaurants. The Mariner King gives me another reason to visit Lunenburg.

Friendly and comfortable B&B in the centre of Lunenburg just one block back from the harbour. Large room and bathroom room. Excellent breakfast. Ate at a large table, good to talk to other guests from all over the world. One even gave me a lift to the shuttle bus back to Halifax

The cottage was perfect and so clean. We enjoyed sipping coffee each morning while looking out at the water. The beds were comfortable, and it was so nice to have a full kitchen. Easy check in at the restaurant, split level room perfect and peaceful for our family after a red eye from Toronto, we managed to all sleep 12 hours straight through! The ac on top floor kept it cool despite it being 32C. Colourful town and it quietens down from about 4pm after the tour buses leave. Food at the Salt Shaker amazing too. Great stop on our NS tour. Thank you

The location is just outside of town in about as perfect a location as you could ask for. The view is great, especially if you can catch an evening thunderstorm over the bay. It's not a huge space for a family of 5, but it worked well for us. Definitely would stay here again.
