The cabin was absolutely lovely and cozy, and the hosts were super welcoming and friendly, and communication the whole time was great. The location was amazing - surrounded by open fields with horses and stunning mountain views. The deck overlooking out over the mountains was the perfect spot to relax with a drink or dinner. It’s about a 25 minute drive to downtown. The place had all the amenities needed (cooker w/ stove, microwave, kettle, coffee machine, TV), and the WiFi worked great the whole time. There’s no indoor plumbing, but they provide water, and there’s an outhouse and outdoor shower (although this was not working yet when I visited).

Was about to book a hotel when I took a chance on this place, no regrets. I went with a few of my colleagues for a business trip, and this was a full apartment with 3 beds, a pull out, several washrooms, and a kitchen. For a business trip, it's way better value than separate rooms. Admittedly we made a bit of noise on one of the nights, and the owner was incredibly understanding (once again, apologies). The apartment was clean, well organised, and stocked with amenities. I would 100% come back again.
