Simply amazing property to stay at; best way to describe it— “magical.” Close to everything, can walk everywhere: ski lifts, restaurants, church, stores, etc. Ski/snow board storage available. Rooms are cozy, well maintained- immaculate!! Even a spacious shared family room to use. Restaurant is top notch- quite possibly the best in Andermatt. Absolutely can’t go wrong with Sonne!!

No more than 90 minutes by car from Zurich airport and the same from Chur for Bernina and Glacier Expresses. 20 minutes from Andrematt and that it has to offer. Cute little town with a detailed history.

Cute little town with a detailed history. Get a copy of the walking tour and/or check out the museum at the train station for more information about the tunnels and bridges. Göschenen is a great place to stay if skiing in Andermatt and you want to be away from the crowds. It’s a quick drive or train ride away.

The hotel is very very old fashioned but it was clean, the owner was extremely kind and helpful. The breakfast was enough, with enough selection. It's in the central but it was quiet during the night. The parking is next to the house, enough places for big cars also. The walking route with dogs starts 50 meters from the house. Perfect stay for one night and good value for the money compared to the extremely expensive Andermatt.

Spacious Apartment, at a great location, in the heart of Goschenen, stone throw distance away from breathtaking hiking trails. Other than comfy beds and relaxing interiors, the apartment has many board games, which made our evenings fun and engaging, instead of wasting time looking at phone and TV screens. The apartment also has a beautiful wood burning stove for making your evenings cozy.

Is in the middle of nowhere and it's a true guesthouse! Don't go here if you're looking for a perfect hotel, but if you want to have a cosy place to stay: Don't look anyfurther. We travelled with our motorcycles, but arrived late (around 9PM). We did notify that we would be arriving late and if possible still liked dinner... When we arrived, table was ready and we had a nice evening!

Nothing - it is desperately in need of refurbishment or demolition and the owner is perhaps the most unpleasant hotelier I have met in half a century travelling extensively for work and leisure - we were the only guests and after one night there in peak ski season, it was obvious why!
