La acogedora Posada Queulat está situada en el corazón del Parque nacional Queulat, a 200 km al norte de Coyhaique y a 2 km de la zona de playa. We LOVED our stay at Posada Queulat. We regretted that we only stayed one night. The cabin was perfectly serene - we loved the wood burning stove, the king bed was very comfortable, and the bathroom was clean and modern. The grounds were beautiful, the common room at the main house had useful guide books, comfortable lounging furniture and a lovely view of the fjord. Dinner and breakfast were amazing (no potatoes though which I feel is worth mentioning since every other meal in Chile seemed to have potatoes) -we had great conversation with some of our fellow guests and the use of unique local ingredients for dinner made it a special and memorable meal. I wish we had stayed longer to take advantage of the advice and actives that Palo recommended. The casual, friendly atmosphere with the cozy luxury of the cabins made us feel like we could have stayed all week!
