We LOVED our stay at Hotel Bacaris, and it would be difficult to attribute it to one single reason. The place is super modern (just opened this January) and clean - in fact, it has the best shower we’ve seen in over 2 weeks in Chile (with waterfall/rain attachment, what a dream!); bed is huge and very comfy; room is well-heated (first time I slept without a hot water bottle in a while) and the host is a delight - very friendly and helpful. We genuinely considered staying longer but the schedule didn’t allow it. All in all, could highly recommend!

We loved our stay! We arrived later on the day and were immediately greeted by Miguel, the host who explained everything for us and was always a great help. The cabin was amazing! The views of the lake are breathtaking, the interior is very cozy and we felt right at home. The beds were super comfortable, in the little kitchenette, you find everything for a basic dinner and the wifi was working smoothly. The bathroom was very clean and tasteful as the whole apartment!

One of the best places we have stayed. The room was very comfortable and had all amenities. But the best part was the view. The lake and the mountain view was amazing and totally worth the money. The check in was very easy. The location is about 25 mins from Marble Caves. Bonus: definitely try the onsite restaurant. We had both dinner and breakfast there and the food was amazing. The staff in the restaurant were very helpful and made great recommendations.

The Cabaña is really big, especially when you travel as a couple. The heating, the oven, was great and cosy. And it is close (like everything in this town) to the bus station, supermarket and the lagoon. We could directly go to the Cabaña at our arrival although check in was at 15:00 and could stay until 12:00 for check out. The bed was very comfortable.

Very welcoming hostess. The cabin was very comfortable and we loved the log burner. The hostess brought us a large plate of barbecued meat for our evening meal - completely unexpected! They also gave us some fresh eggs from their "happy hens". The boat tour to the caves was very good, run by the host, and much less touristy than Puerto Rio Tranquillo across the water. The road to Puerto Sanchez has been improved in recent years and was less difficult than we anticipated.
