We stumbled across Spectre Lodge whilst doing research for our trip to Chile, asoon as I saw it I so excited to come and experience this magical place. Kris and James are absolutely fantastic hosts. Everything was so perfect during our entire stay, they focus on the fine details to make sure your stay is a memorable experience. The level of detail these two have invested in this beautiful place shines through. I’ll remember this trip forever. I won’t go into too much detail about the place itself, as I feel that the surprise adds to the magic experience. The food is beyond incredible, we looked forward to breakfast and Dinner each day. So much choice and all cooked perfectly. James was so informative about all of the activities that were available in the local area for summer/winter. The level of thought that has gone into supplying all of this information for so that the guests can get the most of our their stay, is truely impressive and genuine. Would recommend to everybody! 10/10 stay. Thank you Kris and James! We will hopefully return in the future!

Our host Pilar was so helpful and told us all the good places to go (and not to go). All the staff where lovely too! Perfect location right in the centre of where you want to be- it couldn’t have been better!

The hotel is absolutely beautiful and the location is awesome. Comfy beds and the breakfast is made with soooo much love. We loved our stay so much we extended for a few more nights. But by far the best thing is the staff. Connie always greets you with a big smile and is super willing to help and give tips for the area. And Nieve is just the sweetest person, she has sooooo much passion for her hotel and her guest and really makes you feel like home. I literally don't know where to start! From the moment we arrived (late) we were greeted warmly by Patricio. He and Paulina speak excellent English and we had many long and interesting chats with them. They have a beautiful, perfectly renovated house with very comfortable spaces for guests to relax. Fast WiFi, a lovely garden, fresh flowers everywhere and one of the best breakfasts you will have in Chile in a privately run hotel. The bed was very comfortable and the shower excellent.

The rooms were incredible with exceptional views

The location is very good. The view is amazing. Probably the best voew i ever had in a hotel room. The owners are very cozy and accomodating and the rooms are purely incredible

We loved our stay at Hotel Faro Azul. Even before our arrival, Carolina, the host, contacted us via WhatsApp, which is very reassuring if you have any questions. The house is beautiful, thoughtfully decorated, impeccably clean, with a fully equipped kitchen, a wonderful terrace, and a gorgeous garden. The breakfasts, carefully prepared by Carolina or another hotel staff member, are excellent. Carolina, even though she does not live on-site, is very present at the hotel and always available: when she isn’t there, she responds very quickly to messages. We spent 5 days here and truly felt at home thanks to all her attentions. The accommodation is ideally located, just a 15-minute walk from Valparaíso’s most beautiful tourist areas. It also offers a secure parking space, which is very convenient. The room is bright and heated, and the bathroom is superb. We also had the chance to enjoy a couple’s massage with two professionals in a spa room next to the house, which was an incredible and relaxing experience. We hope to return one day. Great spot with amazing views. Well located in a safe area. Breakfast is continental and the staff are very accommodating. Our room was large and the view from our room was spectacular. Third floor and no lifts but it was excellent. Lovely old building that's had been beautifully decorated.
