We stumbled across Spectre Lodge whilst doing research for our trip to Chile, asoon as I saw it I so excited to come and experience this magical place. Kris and James are absolutely fantastic hosts. Everything was so perfect during our entire stay, they focus on the fine details to make sure your stay is a memorable experience. The level of detail these two have invested in this beautiful place shines through. I’ll remember this trip forever. I won’t go into too much detail about the place itself, as I feel that the surprise adds to the magic experience. The food is beyond incredible, we looked forward to breakfast and Dinner each day. So much choice and all cooked perfectly. James was so informative about all of the activities that were available in the local area for summer/winter. The level of thought that has gone into supplying all of this information for so that the guests can get the most of our their stay, is truely impressive and genuine. Would recommend to everybody! 10/10 stay. Thank you Kris and James! We will hopefully return in the future!

Stayed in top room, where the view was just wow! It was the cleanest hotel we have stayed in Chile so far. Comfortalbe bed and nice sheets. Main lady at the desk was very helpfull, but other stuff did not speak english.

Everything was perfect! Friendly owners, beautiful views, delicious breakfast (especially the cakes), and of course an amazing view. It is a great central location for doing in town activities and exploring down the coast. Very comfortable and huge bed!

Amazing location, Javier is always available and ready to help. The breakfast is really good and healthy! And the view ...stunning during the day and even at night with a shelter of shining starts! Suggest visiting the wine producer Alcohuaz!

Everyone and everything! A dream place. And food over the top!!!

This place is close to the sea in Viña del Mar, in almost central location but very quiet, with a beautiful garden which offers a relaxing atmosphere. All was wonderful in this place, from the breakfast served by the owner Adri, always extremely kind, friendly and helpful, up to the help of Christian in indicating places to visit and reserving restaurants for us. It was a very pleasant stay in the Christian and Adri's place.

I literally don't know where to start! From the moment we arrived (late) we were greeted warmly by Patricio. He and Paulina speak excellent English and we had many long and interesting chats with them. They have a beautiful, perfectly renovated house with very comfortable spaces for guests to relax. Fast WiFi, a lovely garden, fresh flowers everywhere and one of the best breakfasts you will have in Chile in a privately run hotel. The bed was very comfortable and the shower excellent.

Amazing owners, best views and total relaxation. A lot of activities available, hiking possibilities. Property clean, lovely and highly recommended. Will definitely be back!

There is a reason this place is so highly rated. The views are the best in Valparaiso and there is a kitchen you can use as well as parking. The host even let me use their laundry machine. We had a fantastic stay.

Loved our stay! The hotel's location in Cerro Alegre was perfect for exploring the vibrant neighborhood with its colorful houses, amazing street art, and the hipster vibe of Cerro Alegre. We enjoyed wandering around and discovering hidden gems. We were captivated by the hotel's unique blend of vintage charm and modern comfort. The interior design was exceptionally well-thought-out. Also the breakfast was a highlight – the fresh eggs with avocado and freshly pressed juice were amazing.
