Excellent option near the airport for a one-night stay to connect to another domestic flight. The hotel was impeccable for our needs, with a gym and pool to relax, the staff at reception were extremely professional and helpful, the room was very clean, wide, with very comfortable beds and a large bathroom. The hotel provides free shuttle services to the airport. In sum, a perfect stay while you wait to connect to another flight in Santiago.

The police were excellent and very kind.

The police were excellent and very kind. I lost my bag with 2 passports in it. They calmed me and helped me locate it in a restaurant where it had been handed in and then escorted me back to my hotel.

Climbing the Cerros was fun, if you like a little challenge.

Climbing the Cerros was fun, if you like a little challenge. Some of the parks were decent. The Chilean food we ate was just o.k. Barrio Italia was good for local shopping and lively restaurants. Overall, it wasn't one of my favorite cities. It didn't have the charm of many other big cities I've been to, but it less expensive coming from the U.S.

Great cosmopolitan city with restaurants, Shopping and things to do. Affluent and clean with restaurants open a little earlier than other parts of South America. Recommend the Costanera Centre look out and shopping as well as the funicular and Cable Car.
