The staff's friendliness and attentiveness are beyond great; they pay attention to every little detail. Even the ladies who serve breakfast are incredibly friendly, genuinely interested in your trip and experiences, and very, very kind! The girls at reception were also wonderful. They helped me book a very special tour when I thought it wouldn't be possible, as I was trying to book just the day before. I always left at 6 a.m. to start my tours and daily activities, so I wasn't expecting to have breakfast at the hotel (which starts at 7). However, they immediately offered to prepare a takeaway breakfast for me every morning, which was just perfect for the kind of plans people typically make here. I would definitely stay here again! The rooms are spacious and comfortable, with a very comfortable bed, a nice shower, and a well-appointed bathroom. The hotel also offers spacious and convenient free parking, the hotel is located just 1 km from the main city square.

This hotel was exceptional especially for the price. Without details my first night in Peurto Natales was at another hotel & it was such a terrible experience I was on the phone calling family in Canada crying. I managed to find a wifi signal and found Casa Verde. The next day I went there. I cannot stress enough how kind and helpful Lee and his wife were. They're exceptional hosts. The room was large with a beautiful view of the mountains with a big clean bathroom. Water pressure in room is really cool and has a drying rack and a blow dryer. The breakfast in the morning is American style and delicious, I really appreciated it before my long days. Lee even packed me a lunch my 2nd day as I was leaving very early for a tour (430am). They really do go above and beyond to make sure you're comfortable. As a solo female traveller, I really want to thank them. I almost had to cancel my vacation in Patagonia and this hotel ensured I felt safe and welcome. They also arranged a taxi for the airport for me and Lee made sure I knew what I should be charged. It was just so nice to have people care about their guests. From the bottom of my heart, thank you.

A fantastic spot on the map of Puerto Natales. You truly feel taken care of from the very first moment you arrive until the end of your stay. The incredibly rich and delicious breakfasts were undoubtedly a fantastic way to start each day. The place is spotlessly clean, and rooms can be cleaned daily upon request. The location is superb, right on the main street in its most interesting and vibrant section. Highly recommended!

This place is simply wonderful, so many things to see, and so beautiful as well. I highly recommend renting a car and trying to arrive at the different excursions points on your own. Not every agency offers this, but several do. You get to experience the roads and stop to take beautiful pictures. If you don't speak Spanish, it doesn't really matter much because there is no one :) Vast landscapes, mountains, lakes, rivers, animals running free. It is awesome. The city is super secure and peaceful.

My Experience in Punta Arenas

My Experience in Punta Arenas My experience in Punta Arenas was wonderful. The city has a unique charm, combining history, culture, and the beauty of the southernmost part of Chile. I enjoyed exploring the local attractions and appreciated how welcoming and friendly the people were. The weather was quite chilly and windy, which added to the authentic Patagonian atmosphere. The views of the Strait of Magellan were stunning, and the overall vibe of the city felt peaceful yet full of character. Overall, my time in Punta Arenas was memorable and enjoyable. It’s a great destination for anyone who loves history, nature, and a bit of adventure at the edge of the world.

Very beautiful. Nice hiking.

Very beautiful. Nice hiking. However, the park office has NO maps and there is no internet when in the park so using trails and navigating is difficult. You need a photo of a map on your phone. Also, we had no idea the roads were so bad, had we known that we would’ve rented a different car other than a small economy car. The roads leading to the park and in the park and very bumpy gravel roads in bad shape. An SUV would be advised. The park is beautiful with many beautiful overlooks and trails.

Puerto Williams looks like it used to be more charming.

Puerto Williams looks like it used to be more charming. Perhaps we came during the Christmas and New Years holiday, but nearly all of the shops and restaurants were closed. I heard that it never really bounced back after COVID, but I am hopeful that we were just there during a slow time, since some of the restaurants and shops looks really charming from the outside. A local told us that it's a combination of things. Cruise ships do stop here, so I am hopeful. However, we did walk around and get some snacks from the local market and sat with a wonderful view of the channel to enjoy our purchases. There were some cafes down near the wharf that we didn't have time to visit. All of the locals were very friendly and helpful. Knowing Spanish is a great help.

Cerro Castillo is a good compromise to stay to visit the park (It's around 45 minutes drive to the Torres Del Paine NP). From Puerto Natales it's 1,5 hours drive and within the park there are only very expensive or very basic (and still expensive) options for staying. You need a car (also in the NP) because of the distances and very limited shuttlebus options.

Small town with great food. The place i stayed was Yendagaia House and I highly recommend it. You can travel by road through Tierra del Fuego to see king penguins at Penguino Rey. The best kept secret here is the Parque Estromalitos. One of the few places in the world you can see them and it's just 10 minutes from this beautiful city.

Charming town with lots of little shops for its size. We were here just after the tourist season which may be why so many were closed. But we came for the trekking which did not disappoint. The town is friendly and myself (49 male) and my 19YO daughter felt comfortable walking anywhere in town at any hour.
