THE STAFF WERE SO AMAZING AT THIS HOTEL. All of the staff made my family and i feel so welcomed, comfortable and overall cared for. It felt like they were family or old friends that we had known for years and they did absolutely everything they could to help us all while being super warm and kind. The facilities were also great, the kids loved the pool and sports area, and the breakfast every morning was always super delicious! I would like to thank the staff Hugo, Sully, Carlito and Alberto for the exceptional service they provided us during our stay. We cannot wait to come back and stay at the Grand Cru Boutique again, we would choose this place over anywhere else!

What a beautiful venue. I was the only guest for the two nights that I was there (mid week in winter), and was given the royal treatment. My room was massive, and the bed was very comfortable. The antique furnishings and fabric covered walls are so special. The bathroom was functional, and there was plenty of hot water. The monogrammed towels were big and fluffy. Meals are served in a spectacular dining room and were delicious. The meals are served on beautiful crockery and with the most delightful antique hand crafted cutlery. I spent 2 days just exploring the surrounding areas. There is beautiful scenery and good bird life. Casa Sliva, a big winery with a good restaurant, is also not far away. They have a chapel on the property and seems like they cater for a lot of conferences and weddings. But it really was the perfect stop over on my way from Santiago heading further south. It's only 5 minutes off Ruta 5.

Dear Hotel Team, dear Oriana, what an absolute highlight stay in the heart of the Colchagua Valley! The hotel impresses with its charming colonial architecture, impeccably maintained gardens, and an idyllic location amidst the vineyards – perfect for relaxation and wine tourism. The pool is fantastic: Inviting, crystal clear, and with a great view of the surrounding hills, ideal for unwinding after a day at the wineries. Everything was spotlessly clean, from the spacious rooms with terraces to the communal areas – daily cleaning ensures the highest comfort. The service is top-notch: Friendly, attentive, and warm, especially the great hostess who creates an unforgettable guest experience and shares helpful tips on local vineyards. Highly recommended without reservation – 5 stars and happy to return! Thank you for this perfect oasis! Greetings from Chile (and Germany / Paderborn)

Beautiful property with rooms set around an elegant courtyard. The hotel has lovely gardens and has a really secluded feel even though it is close to the centre of the town. Rooms are large, airy and comfortable. What marks this hotel out further though is the exceptionally kind and thoughtful hosts who went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable and had all we needed, and were a joy to talk to as well. Breakfast in the farmhouse style kitchen was delicious and plentiful.

Just the right mix of luxury and simplicity. Amazing view at the sunset through glass walls. The food basket in the morning was a very nice touch. The person at the reception was kind and helpful and very cool about my payment that wasn't going through. No TV (a projector is in the room in case you are addicted or want to watch a movie). One of the best accommodations I've stayed at in 30 years of international travel (including some very fancy ones).

So many wineries to visit, and the town itself is cute with a great museum. This stay was a mini break with a small child so it was a shorter trip but there is plenty to do for a longer stay. We visited Viu Manent for a wine tour on a horse carriage, and had lunch at the unmissable Fuegos de Apalta.

The beach is great and there is an excellent pizza restaurant. There are also plenty of little shops where you can buy groceries or other things you need. It is close to Navidad, where they are more stores and a pharmacy. We walked around the area by the shops restaurants, and cabanas, and it was nice to not have to find parking by the beach.

We stayed outside San Fernando in Hotel Casa Silva.

We stayed outside San Fernando in Hotel Casa Silva. We went in to see San Fernando one day but felt it was not worth the time for a visit. It is a working town with lots of shops, restaurants and hotels but little to see. The churches are either closed for repairs or just closed. The main square is nothing worth seeing. The one museum we were interested in was closed most of the afternoon. We did find a decent restaurant for lunch but in general San Fernando is a pass.

We came to Rancagua for the major hospital for the area.

We came to Rancagua for the major hospital for the area. We were visiting a very sick relative. So we weren't visiting the city itself. As a regional city it has all the usual things. Liked the wide footpaths and bicycle lanes. Because it is a regional city, it is good to have at least some Spanish as not many people speak any English.

If you like wine, Santa Cruz is the place to go. Visit Santa Cruz winery where you can take a cable car ride up a hill, taste complementary wine and visit the car museum. You won't regret it. Also take the time to visit the smaller wineries where you can talk to the owners and get insight in the different wines and how they're made. The museum in Santa Cruz is huge and a must-see.

Santa Cruz is a great home base for exploring the many vineyards near by. The city itself doesn't have that much charm or things to do besides visiting the wineries though. We were there for 4 days and 3 would have been enough (unless you really want to go to a lot wineries!).

It was a worst experience in my life unfortunately.

It was a worst experience in my life unfortunately. I booked and paid for a deluxe room with balcony. Got standard room without balcony. Feel ripped off. In the evening until 11 pm was a live music so loud that we couldn’t hear anything on TV or sleep. We felt like in a club. There is no sound proof walls for this kind of event. There is no information on their website about very loud live music. There is no vine list. Menu is very poor. Sandwiches and curry on the sea side… We left in the night and prefer drive 3 hours back to Santiago then stay there. Lack of interpersonal skills of manager is absolutely shocking. She was very rude and arrogant almost screaming to our back while living the place. Plus on top of that we got threat email after giving bad note experience.
