United KingdomGreat location on the edge of the village, with hummingbirds in the garden and views of the mountains. Short walk to restaurants in the village. Very friendly and helpful English-speaking host, Stephan, including good advice on how to adapt to the high altitude conditions. Clean, comfortable rooms and good breakfast. The dogs were great aswell, very friendly.

Czech RepublicGreat location, amazing and flexible owner (she even prepared the breakfast for us in advance when we needed to leave very early 🥹), safe parking on the property. WiFi might be a bit weak but it’s enough for messaging apps. We definitely recommend!

Fabulous modern room, one of two in a new block with nice views from the balcony over the valley. Good location just a short walk from the centre of town with restaurants etc. Friendly staff and good breakfast. We did a tour of Lauca and Chungara lake, pre-booked with Mayaru tours but they operate from the hotel as well - pricey but good. Heater in the room to keep warm.

Jimena and David are wonderful hosts who welcome you to their lodge just outside the village of Putre. They always took loving care of me. It's a great place to rest one's mind and enjoy the peace and quiet of the area. Everything was spotlessly clean and Jimena lovingly prepared a fresh breakfast.

My dear friend Jimena was really nice and she made me feel at home. I learnt a little of Spanish before arriving to putre and she helped me learning it more.
Breakfast on the second day was great. The first day was a little bit too small
