Hotel Entre Tilos offers accommodation in Valdivia. This property is a 4-storey building. Every room comes with a flat-screen TV. Certain units include views of the river or city. I didn't immediately notice, but the hotel is extremely clean. After I saw how clean everything is I got curious and looked for dust: Even the flatscreen and the heating were dust free on the backside. My room was nice and modern. Everything that was supposed to work worked (water, light, TV, sockets, internet). There is central heating and windows according to German standards. The water for showering is immediately hot and has a strong pressure. The staff is really friendly and they are very pleasant people.

Dopo un bellissimo viaggio in Cile e Bolivia,siamo arrivati a Valdivia, dove abbiamo trovato cattivo tempo, pioggia e umidità. Forse perché siamo capitate di Domenica, ma era tutto chiuso. Molto deludente, forse doveva essere visitata in un altro giorno della settimana
Posizione geografica interessante alla intersezione di vari fiumi. Vale la pena di percorrere a piedi l'intera costanera ed il mercato ai cui margini stazionano in permanenza leoni marini, pellicani ed altri uccelli marini in attesa degli scarti forniti dai pescivendoli. Vivace vita universitaria. Un giorno basta.
Molto interessante e animato il mercato del pesce e della frutta (mattino fino alle 14/15) - nel pomeriggio / sera si trasforma in mercato di artigianato locale e prodotti tipici (ma resta ovviamente odore del pesce). possibilita di fare gite in battello, barche piccole ( un po insistenti i vari procacciatori) con pedalo , tavole surf con pagaia. molti ristoranti soprattutto di pesce nelle vicinanze, molto semplice spostarsi a piedi seguendo la via Costanera...
Colazione varia e abbondante, preparata ogni mattina con cura. Gentilezza e disponibilità del personale impeccabili. Armadi con lucchetto a disposizione per ogni ospite. Possibilità di lasciare gratuitamente la valigia dopo il check-out.
The owner is a super nice guy who obviously cares about the well-being and comfort of his guests. He gave me plenty of advice for things to do around Valdivia and I felt right at home in the hostel!
The room was very spacey and clean. The day was very hot but the room remained cool. Everything worked perfectly well and the breakfast was good. Very nice and cosy place.

It was more like staying with friends than in a B & B (but friends who get up early to make me scrambled eggs for breakfast). The cat is amazing!
