The location wasn't too bad even if it was outside of the mine Palmira town because there's a bus at the front of property going every 20 minutes in both directions for 2.600 pesos.

The location is stunning, quite close to the top of a mountain ridge. Surrounded by forests of tropical plants, bamboo and banana plantations, the Villa's grounds are given over to areca palms, banana groves and stunning flowers and shrubs. In the centre stands an impressive house with numerous balconies and comfortable guest rooms. We chose to stay in a separate building called Cristal House which felt as if you were sleeping above the forest itself. The jewel in the crown is a beautiful pool, fed by mountain streams and given over to fish and wild birds.
