The rooftop bar/pool has one of the best views around the city (hotels). The food is amazing. The rooftop bar/restaurant employees went beyond with the sevice and how they treated me. The room is amazing, and they have a mini bar/snacks with plenty of options in the room.

Awesome vibrant city! Medellin has it ALL!
Fantastic shopping, dining, highlights and activities!
Tesoro Mall and Santa Fe are beautiful malls.
TheMuseum of Antioquia was a jewel with Botero's beautiful work!
We felt safe walking around.
The Botanical Garden is a must to visit (and free!).
Guatape is very touristic. I would rather recommend to goto visit a Finca and spend the day there.
Easy to just jump into a taxi and get to places (cheap transportation too!).

Medellín, Colombia, often referred to as the "City of...
Medellín, Colombia, often referred to as the "City of Eternal Spring" due to its mild climate, has undergone a remarkable transformation in recent years. One of the most vibrant and inspiring areas to visit is Comuna 13. This neighborhood, once plagued by violence, is now a symbol of resilience and community spirit.
Comuna 13 is famous for its colorful street art and murals that tell the stories of its people and their journey towards peace and creativity. The escalators, a unique public transportation project, have made the steep hillside neighborhood more accessible and connected. Visitors can enjoy guided tours that highlight the area's history, art, and the incredible turnaround driven by the locals' determination.
Medellín's innovation doesn't stop there. The city boasts a thriving cultural scene, with numerous parks, museums, and public spaces that encourage social interaction and creativity. The transformation of Medellín, especially seen through the lens of Comuna 13, makes it a must-visit destination for anyone looking to experience the power of community-driven change and the beauty that can emerge from adversity.

I tried to find a place for comments about my stay but since this is the only space I found I’ll leave my comments here. We booked about 10 rooms, including at least 3 suites as well as the main salon for a big party celebration. We all together spent more than US $8,000 and when we asked for a late check-out it was denied and we were asked to pay 190,000 Colombians pesos. We thought because all we spent in the firm as a courtesy we could get a complementary late check out for the birthday lady and one more guess. Very disappointing

The city is beautiful. The people are friendly.
The city is beautiful. The people are friendly. Metro is a breeze to use and cheap and so clean. Real City Tours is the best I’ve ever taken (City tour and Barrio tour.) Took side trip to Guatape which was lovely. Cannot recommend Medillin enough.
The Landmark Hotel is a great place to stay in Medellin. The location is quiet in Manila district of El Poblado and there are very good restaurants close by. The staff is super friendly and always there to help if you need anything. The rooms are nice and the best is the swimming pool on the roof top with a great view on Medellin. I’ll definitely be coming back to Medellin and this hotel!
The Hostel is very well located in Laureles, a kind of residential area + parties + restaurants. I think is the best spot to stay in Medellin, better than El Poblado with expensive prices. The owner is a loved woman, that interact with all the guests, including knowing the name of them by mind. The bed has curtains that allow you have more privacy.
Very nice and clean hotel with the best shower we had all over Colombia and a parking at the other side of the road. The owner and the staff are both very helpful. It is in a very safe area with lots of restaurants all around. Highly recommended.
Tiny room without window, nothing like images shown. No internet. Staff very rude, no attempt to communicate in English or Portuguese, insisting that Colombia speaks Spanish (it's a hotel).
