Set in a lush forest, Termales San Vicente offers a variety of thermal pools and spa treatments surrounded by 163 species of exotic birds. The king bed was a very welcomed feature, especially since we had been travelling for a few days and appreciated the space to rest. The pools were right outside our room, which was amazing. The paths are all well-lit, so you can walk through the jungle and not fear that you'll get lost. The whole ambience of the place is just really cool. Highly recommend staying the night!! You won't regret it.

The Hot Springs were amazing. The place is well kept with great services and amenities. I stayed at Matisses Hotel and Spa. I enjoyed both places. I was glad to visit both places because it made my vacation more interesting. There is so much natural beauty in both places, I am so glad that I was able to experience both. It was very easy to get to Santa Rosa de Cabal from Matisses Hotel and Spa. I recommend the scenery, ambiance, waterfalls, friendly locals, walking, relaxing, and food.

The way Booking.
The way Booking.com is managing the bookings are wrong; they should charge for a room not for the number of people; if the room says it can accommodate 4 people and have 4 beds then give the price for 4 people on 4 beds then if you want to refund the price for the people that are no using the beds then it would be fine... I've never seen that kind of system in my life that charges by person, that is tacky, shameful and miserable that after driving 3 or more hours to that isolated place you tell your customers it will be more money, but if it would be less people then you would not even refund it. The natural place is amazing, but that hotel is precariously managed.

The town of Santa Rosa is small and quaint.
The town of Santa Rosa is small and quaint. It used to be a few large horse stables before, but now caters mainly for tourists visiting the thermal springs that Santa Rosa is famous for. Lots of restaurants and bars. Can get very warm in the day and cold at night. The roads to the thermal springs is pretty much a dirt road for the last 5 miles, so a 4 x 4 is recommendable. Lots of low cost accommodation around.

We like everything to be honest, stay was perfect. Rooms and bathrooms were tidy and clean. Hotel hostess was absolutely kind and always willing to help, the breakfast was delicious and had that "home taste" that was more than delicious. Jacuzzi service during the night along with a glass of wine was romantic and relaxing. Also sharing the fireplace with your couple give you time to think in nothing but resting completely disconnected from everything else.
