We loved our stay at Jaibaná Spa! The view from the balcony was amazing. We stayed in the room with the jacuzzi on the balcony which was a real treat. The hotel was good value for money, particularly as dinner and breakfast were included. You can also get drinks etc extra. The staff were brilliant, and very friendly. There was a homely feel! We both had chocolate therapy which we really enjoyed, overlooking the lovely view. There were a range of treatments on offer. The surrounding countryside is very beautiful and you can go for walks from the hotel. Margarita also sent us a list of tours (e.g. bird watching, walking, tubing etc) - we didn't do any of them, but looks great if you have the time! The town and bus stop was a short walk away (5-10mins). In case it's useful for anyone - we came from Salento, and Margarita advised us to get the bus to Rio Succio (book in advance), then bus to La Pintada (we didn't book in advance), then wait outside "el turista" restaurant for the bus to Tamesis. (Or you can get a taxi for all/part of the journey).

As we were traveling in low season, we normally book very last minute, and we bumped into this good deal of room-update at Hotel Santa Laura. We got the junior suite with jacuzzi and amazing views, and semi-open hot shower. The room is way too spacious, there is a king-size bed and in-room jacuzzi. There is complimentary high-end quality coffee in the room, and complimentary water, tea, coffee and fruits in the common areas. Breakfast is also included. Staff is very friendly, and in-house laundry service is good and good-priced. Definitely recommended! Sometimes the wi-fi dropped in our room but that is because we were in the outmost corner of the hotel I guess.

Everything was excellent. The receptionist Christian was the best but all the personal were very friendly. Location was also very good. Basically, all was exceptional.

Jonny the owner greeted us like we were friends. He rememberes each guests name, calls everyone by name, is very nice and helpful. We received free coffee many times which was really yammy. Our room was super cute and cozy.very beautiful view but further from town the way to the hotel ist bit steep. With baggage wasn't to easy to walk there. There is a nice Kirchen with everything you need. Everytime we saw Jonny in town he actrd like our frined not like a host. Very sympatic person.
