We had such a wonderful stay at Curuba Lodge. It is an absolute gem and a labour of love from the owners. The cabins are very quiet and private and set out in a ravishing garden full of colibris and other birds which is perfect to disconnect. They are nicely decorated, spotless and very comfortable with lots of blankets and a heater to keep you warm. The hosts are super nice,  amazingly attentive and always going the extra mile to assist with your every needs. They gave us great recommendations on local activities (I highly recommend the Quetzales and coffee tours ) and about Costa Rica too. And the food is absolutely delicious, made with products sourced locally. It was our favourite meals in Costa Rica! Thanks again for making our stay truly special!

A great place to relax and get a way from it all. You are secluded in the mountains with a gorgeous view. The place was very clean, new, full wall of windows and very serene. Not much in the small towns near by, so bring what you need. Some nice restaurants. Great for bird watchers. No air conditioning, so a fan would be nice to have. Owner was very pleasant and helpful. I would definitely stay again.

Very conveniently located coming from San Jose. The animals were really cute and fun. The cabin was really spacious and well equipped. The internet connection was fast and stable, we were able to work from there.
