The cabin we stayed in at Hoya Azul is BEAUTIFUL! If you appreciate the beauty of natural wood, combined with great tile work, you should visit this place! The construction work is really interesting, real craftsmanship. The air conditioning unit in the bedroom made sleeping very comfortable, and kept the whole place cool. Good kitchen facilities. A washing machine, so we were able to clean our clothes, always a necessity in Costa Rica’s heat. Just down the road is the Diria Coffee Tour, which was really interesting. Great location for visiting nearby national parks. Great communication with hosts. Super secure, as the property is gated. Highly recommended

Perfect place if you need a one night stay to rest. The staff was very friendly. The room and exterior were clean and comfortable. The breakfast included was not onsite, but was 3 minutes driving down the road. The breakfast was buffet style so you had a few different options which was very nice. Overall, I think this was an amazing value for what we paid and would recommend to anyone passing through this area!

loved everything including the challenge of driving up there. food was excellent, the host Laura was to simply put it (GREAT). the whole vibe was just awesome, saw lots of monkeys the view was perfect. definitely would go back.
