The host kindly made us an amazing authentic Costa Rican breakfast and bravely held engaging conversations with us even though we didn't speak Spanish fluently. She showed us her farm and explained Costa Rican culture to us. It was our first night and morning in Costa Rica and it felt more authentic than any where else that we stayed.

The stay was perfect for our one night in Colorado. The owner was there when we arrived, hot and thirsty after cycling in and welcomed us with a fresh juice and some of his own honeycomb to try. The rooms are simple but very clean with aircon. In the morning we enjoyed a plentiful,home cooked breakfast before we headed off.

This was the most beautiful stay of our trip, wish it was longer. The cabin is big and the terrace area is just beautiful. Everything was very clean. The hosts were easy to reach. The quality for the money is awesome. Plus for the friendly kitty! The town was lovely to visit, great places for food.
