There was also live music from 8 to 10pm Staff is kind and friendly It is a 10 min walk to the ferry terminal

Free public parking is possible at a location nearby. the property is great: has several cozy terraces, is clean and small enough to feel personally cared for. The lovely owner and the staff went above and beyond to help us out with a flight issue, that we are beyond grateful for. A delicious breakfast too :)

The hotel was clean and comfortable. The staff were excellent, especially Nilza. When flying from Fogo to Sao Vicente, the airline left all out luggage on Fogo. We were due to sail to Sao Anteo but decided to rearrange the ferry and stay in Porto Grande to try and let our luggage catch up with us. There were 8 of us and we only booked in on the day of our stay. They were not phased when we arrived with only the grubby clothes that we stood up in and Nilza was very helpful. She liaised with the airline and airports to establish where our luggage was [getting further than we could] and arranged a large taxi for us all to have a happy reunion with the luggage that evening. Wiyhout hteir help the holiday would have been a lot more difficult.

Surrounded by mountains, this air-conditioned hotel in the center of Mindelo, is a 10-minute drive from San Pedro Airport. It is 1312 feet from the beach and offers a restaurant and 24-hour reception.... Was very good. Staff attended to requests very well.

Located in Mindelo, less than 0.6 mi from Praia Da Laginha, Royal Mindelo Suite features air-conditioned accommodations and a bar. This is arguably one of the most charming houses in Mindelo; after all it's the cafe where Cesaria Evora started her exceptional career. The staff really go out of their way to help. In our case, we received suggestions for entertainment, got superb help with rebooking and paying a flight via bank deposit (included heading to a bank and negotiating with security), and were directed to a scooter rental. We loved the cachupa & fruit salad breakfast; coffee was also very decent.
