Centrally located in Kathikas village, Villa Saint George Stone Costa Demetriou offers traditional-style, stone-built accommodations set amid a garden. Very spacious and comfortable. The very nice and peaceful village of Kathikas. We were welcomed very nicely.
Featuring air-conditioned accommodations with a private pool, garden view and a balcony, Villa Alethia is located in Kathikas. Guests can enjoy free WiFi. The villa is really perfect and very comfortable. The pool is clean and good for the hot days. The host Corrie is very helpful although that she is not located in Cyprus. Definitely recommended the villa.
Michalis Anoyia is a stone-built property featuring balconies and patios shaded by wooden pergolas and a traditional living area with fireplace. The owner was very nice, lots of small thoughtful extras like a cake his wife baked, coffee, tea, fresh milk etc etc. you can't really do or ask for more! It's above and beyond standard. Gave us a walk around the town, introduced us to the local taverns for dinner.
Quaint village, both authentic & touristic. Good views, as is 700 m' high, and got quite chilly & rainy in Oct.! The lady in the minimarket, Kola?, is very friendly. Don't miss the pitta in honey! The place is very quiet, & full of trees bursting with fruit. The bus to & from Paphos is only 1.5€, but the last one to Kathikas is at 15.20 from Karavella, & last 1 back to the city - at 14.00. Getting proper, accurate info was next to impossible throughout my trip... Had dinner at 1 of the few tavernas open this time of the year: the food was very good & the service excellent, as was the price. Kathikas has many villas to let, some quite big, like family houses, with swimming pools. All in all, very pretty, agreeable place for a peaceful holiday,& if you rent a car - as a centrsl point 4 day trips in the area.
An adorable little town in the hills near Paphos. We felt very much at home while there, all the locals were very friendly and helpful. It's not very big, and there's not much to see, but for a base it's wonderful, perfect for exploring and having somewhere quiet to come back to. The town has a nice selection of restaurants and bars as well, we had an excellent meal while there.
The village has 2 really good tavernas. Yiannis and Araouzos. If you would go only to one we would recommend Yiannis. Very good service and excellent lamp chops. The climate in the village is a lot cooler than staying by the sea where it is really humid. Also if you want to escape from the crowds and are after some Peace and quiet the setting is Ideal. Every day we would drive off somewhere. Polis is Near, peyia is very Near and even the town of Paphos is within reasonable distance. Definetely enjoyed our stay
