This property is right out of a travel magazine. If looking for an original slice of Germany, stay here. The property is next to a babbling brook. Not very far from the banks of the Mosel River. Stay was sooo very friendly. The night Manager spoke some English, but did everything to make us feel wanted. Wonderful evening meal. Schnitzel or fish are only options at night. Wonderful bar. The breakfast buffet was wonderful. Everything was done with pride.

Clean, spacious, warm apartment in a slower paced town, great for relaxing or walking along the river. Our hosts were helpful & kind. Breakfast was great, including hot chocolate for the kids & local items. The biker theme throughout was entertaining. Highly recommend walking to Rebglück Weinbar for local cheese & wines in a cozy setting.

Very nice and comfortable accommodations. Perfect place to get away from fireworks and the New Years craziness. Quiet peaceful and great location with tons of options to hike and see plenty of castles. Restaurant wasnt open due to holiday break. Range stovetop, coffee, and fridge worked perfectly with plenty of pots and pans so I could cook. Dog friendly overall peaceful experience 😌 ☺️

So nice. Booked one night, but wished we had booked 3! Albrect and Maria Gietzen were so helpful. Albrect met us at the station even though it was a 4 minute walk. We received free bus tickets to Burg Eltz and restaurant recommendations in the nearby towns (10 minute train ride). Room was comfortable with a great bathroom and balcony right in the winery. Fabulous Rieslings to buy right there for 12€. Breakfast was lovely.

The staff was friendly and helpful. A great place for relaxing and a book.

This was the best dinner and breakfast we had our whole trip in germany! Which was just what we needed after hiking to burg eltz. If you stay here order the wild boar. Beautiful surroundings, like a fairytale forest. Danke schön

Very nice hotel in an extremely beautiful place of the earth. Our rooms were big, with comfortable beds. The food in the restaurant was also good, especially supper. It was so good to have the opportunity to eat after late arrival. Because not all the hotels have that. The staff was very nice and helpful. Recommend this hotel to all who want to stay in the district.

Fourth time staying at hotel and it never ceases to amaze me. As usual, everything was just about perfect...room, spa, food, and service were all great

Great historical hotel right on the Mosel River. The hotel is clean and comfortable, it has a long time history. The breakfast view is breathtaking, seems like you sit right on a river bench. All around is associated with famous German Riesling wine, all around are vineyards and small towns with rich wine culture. Cochem town is very near to the hotel, it is a great place to visit the 12th-century castle and take a tour inside. everywhere around you will find a good bottle of local wine.

Very clean and comfortable rooms. The staff were super friendly and also we had free drinks in our room!

The staff was friendly, the breakfast was good, food in the restaurant was amazing, and the wellness area was not too big and very nice.

Bright, large room with bathroom. Nice extras like bath products. Secure bike parking. Very friendly and helpful team at the hotel. Delicious dinner available right on site.

The location was wonderful. We ate at the restaurant and all four of us tried different dishes. They all were delicious. The decorations were a variety of antiques. The host was very nice. Parking was easy and the breakfast was very good with lots of options. There was a lovely small garden in the back. We were traveling with family and enjoyed our stay.

It was a traditional B&B with an incredible view to Mosel. The room for 3 people was very spacious, very clean and had a large balcony, where one could sit. We also had our own bathroom with shower and toilet. A very nice breakfast was included into the price. The hosting family was very welcoming and very flexible. Location was also perfect for exploring for the Mosel and the Rhein castles.
