It’s in a lovely quiet village, a lovely traditional house with a excellent host we felt very much at home. The highlight for both of us was looking around the village church. Love the restaurant and the staff. Theyre very patient with me and my limited German! We have been here twice and last time was 3 years ago before the forest jump festival in town. Will always stay here whenever I come back to Salzwedel!

Lovely old hotel in a great location in the heart of historic Salzwedel. Very welcoming and exceptionally friendly and helpful host. Great atmosphere. Fantastic, secure bike storage. Easy walk to nearby supermarket, park, restaurants and historic churches. Beautiful breakfast cooked and served by host and his lovely staff member. Would definitely stay again.
