The apartment was spacious and furnished in a tasteful, thoughtful way. It went far beyond the basics, everything was provided to make our stay truly memorable. Everyone at Hotel Merkur was extremely friendly and helpful. It was so convenient to get to the base or onto the highway from there. I walked to the train station and into Landstuhl very frequently, as it was convenient to both.
