Very traditional small hotel in the middle of Triberg, location could not be beat. Across the street from the entrance to the waterfall. Very welcoming staff, comfortable room, with breakfast in a little dining room for guests and a German buffet.

Only truly interesting thing about the town of Triberg are the waterfalls. Other than that, the place has been spoiled by the overly touristy, quasi-Disneyland feel. The are much prettier and more interesting villages to visit in the Black Forest than this. On the other hand, it’s a good base if what you want to do is go hiking. Natural surroundings are great.

So many cool things to do and see in Triberg.
So many cool things to do and see in Triberg. We walked up to the main waterfall, strolled the main street, and bought a nice cookoo clock, designed and hand carved in shop. At night we parked on a back road under the stars and enjoyed no light pollution, taking in the amazing night sky view! Definitely recommend a visit to this Schwarzwald town!

The waterfall is worth the climb, and great that it's included in the guest card issued by the hotel. We also visited the Black Forest museum, which was interesting, although unfortunately our German wasn't good enough to read much of the information with the exhibits. The scenery is lovely.

The Black Forest is beautiful and Triberg is a charming town, if maybe a little tourist-kitschy. There are not a lot of really good dining options -- Cafe Tresor is the only standout -- but there is a really nice grocery store, Edeka, right in the middle of town. The much-hyped waterfall is worth the short but steep hike. It's a good location to explore other towns and attractions.
We made a great choice to stay here in H-Apartment in Triberg. The location of this apartment is superb - just few minutes walk from the MarketPlatz; as well as the Triberg falls.
The host Mr. Jagdev guided us right from the beginning - from arriving smoothly at the apartment, to local siteseeing & restaurant options. Triberg itself is a beautiful town within the Black Forest area and choosing to stay in this apartment was a great choice for us.
I totally enjoyed staying there, I have one good thing to say. I got the gustcard. It helped me to skip the queue in all attractions,It offers lot of flexibility. Breakfast is good, The most important thing is Black Forest cake is so nice. This hotel is very close to most of the attractions and busstop. My son enjoyed the facility it is family friendly. Thanks to Càfe Alder.
Location is good with a decent view and great breakfast, but toilet was smelly. The hotel manager gives a Triberg tourist card which you can use to visit waterfalls, triberg-land, and the museum - all just few meters away from the hotel.
The staff was so helpful! The hotel is lovely and in the perfect spot in Triberg. There is a common room with books, games, and comfortable seating and a lounge with drinks available 24/7. Breakfast was great with a lot of options.
