Everything about this stay was magical. The property is gorgeous with sweet smelling roses, a lovely fish pond, and a charming little robot lawn mower that we thought was adorable. The cottage was immaculate and had everything you could possibly need for a short or even longer stay. We stayed three nights and very much regretted we couldn’t stay longer. The entire area is beautiful and relaxing and everything you could want a summer vacation to be. I think it would be a tragedy to stay less than three nights and we all felt sad to leave. The kitchen is so well stocked you will have no trouble cooking if you choose to. I felt like there was nothing missing here and the host, Per, was so kind and friendly that if the world were smaller we would come every summer. People who are able to do that are so lucky!! Stay here, you will not regret a thing.

We are using this place for the second time now for a short stopover on the way to Norway. The place has everything you need for that: fully equipped, strong and reliable wifi, very clean, but will definitely offer even more for a longer stay.

The room was very comfortable and very clean. The owner was very hospitable, kind, and gave wonderful suggestions of what to see in the area. The location is good - one can reach numerous villages and sights (Hirtshals, Lokken, Lonstrup, Skagen/Grenen, etc.) in 30 - 60 minutes.

It is quite calm and natural.

It is quite calm and natural. Hjørring itself is a cute town with all the facilities you need. The place is great if you love being outdoors in nature. It's not so great if you want to do a lot of activities. It's quite rural. We'd recommend going to Eagle World. Great show. We'd recommend against going to the zoo in Aalborg. It's tiny and a lot of the animal exhibits are empty. No elephants or red panda's for example. Didn't see any of the big cats. The park is also NOT handicap friendly.

Lovely natur, beautiful long walks next to the ocean.

Lovely natur, beautiful long walks next to the ocean. We love to walk and it’s pretty easy to do so around this area. But next time I would rent a bike to explore even more. Recommend you to go se the Rubjerg Knude fyr.

Just a stone's throw away from the train station with solid connections to other main areas in Northern Jutland. Very quite and relaxing place with extremely pleasant and very helpful staff. It's a family affair, no hotel chain, so it's cozy and easy-going plus they know the area very well. Rooms are spacious for this price range.

Modern, clean, spacious, comfortable beds, nice area to go for walks, nice idyllisk town centre near by as well as beach. Nice hike to the beautiful Rudbjerg Knute. 15 min drive to Hjørring centre. Nice garden and different terraces but we were there in the Winter.

When travelling between Norway and Danmark/Germany and you have a late arrival at Hirtshalsb this hotel can be a nice stop. The room/bathroom were very clean. We didn't had breakfast since we left eary (no discount).
