I had a wonderful experience at Hotel Mauad. The hotel itself is beautiful, clean, and very well-located, but what truly made my stay memorable was the outstanding service. ​I want to give a special shout-out to the manager, Laura Jimenez. She went above and beyond to ensure I had everything I needed.

Francky was a great host, very helpfull. Hotel is just few minutes from city center and in safe neighborhood.

Everything was good. I stayed here once before and only had a small boxy room with no window and single bed. This time I had a larger room with a window and double bed. Shower was hot with good pressure.

The only hotel in Dominican Republic where you don’t hear music playing loud at day or night. I had to take some meetings from work and I had been in few other hotels in Santo Domingo and none of them were silent. The rooms were super clean and breakfast was good too. Almost a luxurious hotel for a very good price. The location is great, it’s in the main walking street with many restaurants around.

All the staff at Hotel Class Colonial were so lovely and helpful! They always made a note to greet me as I entered and left the hotel for the day, and were happy to have a chat when I felt like it. As a solo traveller, I felt very safe staying here, as well as it being a great location in the Zona Colonial.

I was referred to this super hotel by another Ex-pat after asking for suggestions on affordable, clean hotels in Santo Domingo. Hostel San Francisco de Asis is definitely well within those parameters. Great staff and location.

I have to say that it's a very very good experience there. everybody there was very friendly to me. They always tried their best to help me. I really like the atmosphere on the roof. for the Panorama of the city. The location is very good. It's very near to the Zona Colonial. I hope I could return there in the future.
