A hearty breakfast was served at 9 am. Scrambled eggs, sausages, bun/2 slices of toast, butter and jam, fruit bowl, fruit juice with no added sugar and tea/coffee/hot chocolate. We had a wholesome set lunch on the second day but skipped it thereafter because we couldn't eat dinner as well. We enjoyed the fresh caught Trucha from the Cajas for dinner which we ate at 4pm. The restaurant closes at 6:30 pm. We would communicate through WhatsApp (used Google translator because our Spanish is rudimentary) the day before, our dinner choices. Transport was provided from Cuenca at an additional cost. Valeria drove carefully especially when she realized that our dog suffered from motion sickness. She even picked up meds from our vet in Cuenca so that our dog travelled back to Cuenca incident free. We were offered an upgrade after spending the first 2 nights at the Cypress unit, at no additional cost, but we declined because we were already unpacked. The views, tranquility, the 30-minute trail around Lake Busa, the super accommodating staff and the several friendly dogs on the property made our stay one to be remembered. We will return.

An incredibly nice and clean unit on an amazing property. The dog, cats, and other animals were so fun to interact with. The electric heater was a nice addition for cool mornings.
