Our family spent a wonderful week at Casa del Sol, and it was the perfect choice. The house has everything a family needs, especially a great kitchen and a very clean, comfortable environment. We loved the location—it is so close to local markets, parks, and delicious restaurants. ​The best part of our stay was Cornelia. She is incredibly kind and knows everything about the area! She helped us discover the very best spots in Napo that we never would have found on our own. If you want an outstanding place to stay with a host who truly cares, you cannot miss Casa del Sol! Highly recommended :)

Very big apartments. Don Miguel was very helpful in everything. The street was not pavement however it was not an issue. The town is very safe even late hours. I recommended. I find everything in the apartment

The Location was great, the views from the balcony are breathtaking. Benjamin and the staff were very hospitable and helped out with everything we needed, local information, organising trips etc everything was taken care of.

The staff were very friendly when checking us in and showing us around. The room was big and clean and the bathroom and showers very close to the room. The location is great, very close to the bus station, restaurants and shops.

The hostel itself was nice, lovely jungle location with great views and close to city. Very good value for price. However, the star of our stay was Fastou the guide who took us for a night, one could only describe as utterly fantastically surreal, in the Amazon. From the moment he arrived he wxplained in full the different tours and although clearly already having a tight schedule adapted a tour to suit our wants perfectly. We asked little questions trusting his 25+ years experienve and boy oh boy we had an unforgettable few days. He shared his knowledge on plant medicine and culture and wildlife and we learnt so much, shared so many laughs, mer some wonderful people and became reinas de La selva. Words can’t describe how great an experience this was and how safe as two females in young 20s felt. As a side note he cooks amazing vegan local food!! Just can’t praise him highly enough
