Our stay was exceptional, the staff was very friendly specially Mr. Ahmed Galal was above and beyond our expectations. All staff were making sure that our stay was perfect. The beach life guards Mohamed Tag and Mahamed Mahmoud were very nice and helpful.

I almost feel guilty raving about this place because even though Egyptians know about it and have been coming for decades, there are relatively few foreign tourists. This has allowed Marsa Matruh to retain its unique cultural authenticity, with its delightful Bedouin hospitality and scrupulously honest people. I hope it won't be invaded soon by too many foreign tourists. Avoid coming in July and August. The best months are May, early June, September and October.
