We only stayed for 1 night prior to our ferry to Menorca. Location was great inside the old city walls of Alcudia. We rented a car and beware google maps has you drive directly to the hotel (it is illegal to drive within the old city walls of Alcudia). I finally backed my way out of the Old City and found a parking lot that was a couple blocks for the hotel.

I have been to Alcudia a number of times, staying in the vicinity of the old town. For those who are not looking for a beach holiday the beautiful old town offers lots to see and do. Some very good restaurants and coffee shops as well as good shopping. I would recommend walking the wall as this offers spectacular views of the old town as well as helping you get your bearings. The October festival is brilliant, offering a full weekend of fun, food and history. The locals are completely involved and are always welcoming. It truly is my most favourite place to take a holiday.

We loved Alcudia, it was clean and tidy with lots to offer, large sandy beaches and the Historic Town was interesting and full of lovely shops and restaurants. We visited Porto Pollensa which is close by and has a lovely sea front with sandy beaches and lovely restaurants. We drove into the mountains to Formentor which is north of Alcudia and we also drove into the mountains to get to Soller and visit the wonderful Botanic garden.

Alcudia has two parts. Both are great.
Alcudia has two parts. Both are great.
The old town is lovely - markets, walled, small shops.
And then there is the beach area - superb beach, bars, bigger restaurants, beach type shops selling everything you need.

Alcudia is a buzzing place, night and day.
Alcudia is a buzzing place, night and day. The beaches are gorgeous. There are so many restaurants that will cater for all tastes. The island is small, so you don’t have to drive too far to explore it. Be aware that temperatures can touch 40 degrees in August!

2nd time in Alcudia. Chilled family vibe. Gorgeous beaches.
2nd time in Alcudia. Chilled family vibe. Gorgeous beaches. Feels safe. We hired a car and got to see quieter beaches. Reasonably priced.
We saw reviews stating bad food, when you look at the detail it’s always non spanish food like burgers, steak etc. we ate lots of Spanish tapas, paella etc, all fab.
Lots of beach activities like para sailing, banana boats etc.
Adventure day trips to caves, with snorkelling, jet skis. Great for teenagers.

Victor was there to welcome us and was very helpful and approachable. He showed us where everything was and how it worked. He helped check the bike which was great. Nothing was too much trouble for him.

we had a lovely stay - it’s a lovely small/intimate hotel and the staff were all very attentive and friendly.
breakfast is fantastic with lots of choice and a chef waiting to cook fresh eggs for you too.
the area of mal pas was perfect for my friends and I. it’s quiet and so pretty but also has a choice of five bars/restaurants within a five/ten minute stroll
the beach is a five minute stroll away too and is beautiful
one day we walked down the pretty country lanes to explore the old town of Alcudia (20 minutes)
The location was good, within a somewhat former, run down resort that seems to still have a few hotel rooms, but is also rented out by private hosts. It is close to grocery stores (Spar), bars and restaurants. Lidl, which is a bit cheaper, is about 2kms from the property, the beach is a 1km walk where one can also stroll down to Alcudia Port. For us, we went for trail running, was the location the most important part but also the self catering facilities (see below, what we did not like).
VIEW WAS AMAZING. The property had everything we needed for a self catering trip. Nearby restaurant was very good. The property was on a bus route with excellent access to Alcudia main town. We travelled in the evening to recommended restaurants and got taxis back at night. Loved being close to the wee island and we hired kayaks nearby. Very close to a Spar where we got fresh baking every morning. Any issues we reported were dealt with promptly and efficiently.
Lovely boutique hotel in the heart of Alcudia, it's in the pedestrian area so you need to park outside the city walls, not a big deal, large car parks less than 5 minutes walk away. Room was large, well maintained, bedding was amazing. Don't miss out visiting the roof top terrace for a view of the city and the countryside nearby. I also appreciated the information booklet sent beforehand which clearly explained how to get there.
The room was very clean and spacious.
Food was very diverse for a 4 star hotel and good quality.
The location is great, 5 minutes from the Alcudia city center if you rent a car.
I didn’t try but there are buses stopping in the hotel property. Nice beaches also 5/10 minutes away by car with clear water and not too crowded. I advise asking in the hotel reception for tips on where to go.
