IrelandLovely and relaxing break and great spa facilities. We really enjoyed the thermal pool and treatments including the mudbath and Roman baths, everything was well maintained and clean. We also really loved the wave pool and outdoor swimming pool.

Arnedillo is a very pretty village with numerous small narrow cobbled streets to explore as well as a small supermarket and several bars and restaurants, although I didn't try any of them. The thermal springs are well worth a visit and there are several good walks in the area including an interesting 650 metre pedestrian tunnel under the village to the springs. There had been a massive landslide some time ago which has blocked the main road into the village from Arnedo so a separate road seems to have been built while work continues. It is only one way and you can wait up to ten minutes for your turn to pass through.

If you want a stunning location, with beautiful scenery, wildlife, rivers and rugged, rocky hills, this is it. There are also hot springs that can be used completely free of charge. That is what we came for and so our trip was not a disappointment.
Arnedillo itself, is not in the best of shape. It has a lot of shops and restaurants that are closed down, and the few left open at odd hours (10 a.m. to 14:00). So if you want to buy food, you need to be up and out in the morning. As for the restaurants, you will see from the reviews that they are all much the same. The food is OK but the service is appalling. We waited 90 minutes the last time we went. You see people being served before you. There is a noticeable favouritism to locals. As a result we ate out only 3 times. After all, you begin to resent such poor treatment when you are paying handsomely for your dinner!
Life is easier for drivers, as there are not many buses and the nearest taxi drivers are in Arnedo. We could only find ONE taxi driver in Arnedo, although I have been told there are 3. The bus timetable is really weird and would have given us a maximum hour at Mercadona to do our shopping. It certainly was no way to get out of town for sightseeing as you risked being stranded and unable to get home.

Amazing place with friendly staff and just wonderful host. I have received the apartment on the top floor which is decorated incredibly and also has a huge terrace. There's parking place near the hotel, and it takes just 5 minutes walking to the thermal baths. Would like to stay here again.

Great location just 2 min walk from the hot springs. We stayed in the suite which was amazing ans spacious with wonderful views over the mountains. Hotel parking was very convenient too.

Nice overall hotel with great swimming pools (our 5 year old loved them). Staff was very friendly and the room was big and comfortable.
