The location of the hotel is simply stunning. The family run hotel also conveys a lovely personal atmosphere and really delivers an excellent service. Starting from a chat with the staff during breakfast about your whereabouts, trip recommendations and in our case we also got a “picnic” breakfast prepared since we had to leave early to catch our return flights. Something I never experienced in years of business travel in a plethora of hotels. The food in the restaurant, both breakfast and dinner, is excellent at decent prices (compared to Germany we would have paid 3 x the price to receive worse service and food quality). While the pricing for the stay is more aimed towards the upper end it is the little things (next to the obvious ones) which justifies the costs in our mind. The whole property areal is rather large and amidst a national park, quite but not entirely remote and invites to actively explore the surroundings. We didn’t make use of the pool or the spa services as we had one more hike to finish (principles matter). If you like cats you may enjoy the company of a litter of kittens servicing the property (no worries, they tend to themselves). Even though the facilities are quite classy the attire remains relaxed or casual. All in all we enjoyed our last two days of summer vacation in this hotel.

Very convenient central location -easy walking distance. Guests given alternate access so not necessary to go through owner’s house. Very spacious. Lovely gardens & patio areas. Delicious breakfast with very enjoyable chat with host who speaks better English than we do Spanish! Very helpful with areas to visit. Easy parking on street outside B & B.

A truly cosy and warm home with exceptional hosts, offering a very homely atmosphere and a wonderful selection of books. Bedrooms, while a bit dark, were comfortable. We loved the charming village feel and the positive, welcoming vibe. The hosts were incredibly generous, thoughtfully preparing special vegetarian meals for us.
