Not too much. There was no staff available most of the time. There were two young men, probably teenagers except the first time I came. At other times there was no one there. I was supposed to stay three nights, but stayed only two and then moved to a hotel in town. So I lost my last night's fee. The pension was outside of town. with nothing close by, no stores or restaurants. Since I didn't have a car I had to walk a couple kilometers to anything.

We had hit something of a wall by day seven of a long trip. This hotel was a great antidote because we were able to sit in the very-lively outside restaurant and bar for a few hours. Caught up with communications, photos, enjoyed some drinks and a good dinner. Convenient location if you are planning to stay at the hotel for dining / entertainment. We had what must be their best room. Very large with windows along two whole sides, great views.

Matteo is really friendly and helpful, the location in the middle of the mountain is perfect for relaxing in nature, and the house is gorgeous and squeaky clean. The rooms are really comfortable and the breakfast is amazing. They have plenty of animals around, which was great. Absolutely loved it, would definitely come back!

Our stay here was truly unforgettable. The location is wonderful – right between two beautiful little towns with charming architecture, and there’s a stunning bike path surrounded by greenery and even tunnels through the rocks. The hosts were incredibly kind and welcoming: they showed us their animals on the farm, treated us to fresh tomatoes, and even let us use their bikes. The atmosphere was peaceful and quiet, and the room was very comfortable. We came with our son, and he had a cozy extra bed. Having access to a kitchen was also very convenient. Everything felt spacious, calm, and authentic – a perfect stay!

The weather, the people were nice.

The weather, the people were nice. Only thing be prepared to take the bus if you arrived by train at Zumarraga train station because it is difficult to get a taxi even if the Taxi booth is right in front of the train station

I was just passing by, staying for one night.

I was just passing by, staying for one night. Nevertheless I planned to assess the town as I enjoy the area and have plans to return for some hiking. The town is fairly compact and can easily be visited on foot, featuring an interesting pedestrian area along the river. On the main square I found a very lively youth event with an ongoing football-like match. Beyond this, the brief experience was not the best as I ended on a restaurant that felt to be touristic, with staff that were not particularly welcoming or attentive. The menu was very limited and the food also did not impress. I hope there are other more satisfying options in town.

Stayed here for a night on a Saturday in early June in a Double Room. Decent hotel in a serene small town (not many to begin with). Room was clean and spacious while the bed was huge and comfortable. Nice to wake up to a good view of the surrounding mountains. Good location as it’s about 10-mins walk away from the Sanctuary of Loyola or a short drive to other parts of town. Parking is free around the hotel. Breakfast spread was also decent and staff were friendly and helpful.

The location is rural, right above the town. This is a family-run hotel, and I was treated like family! Wonderful people, and it was a great experience to meet them all. The room was extremely stylish and elegant. Unlike me!! I rode my bike down to the town for pintxos and dinner. Lots of choice and very friendly, despite my murdering of their language😊

Great apartment for exploring Basque country. Excellent fit for family with 2 kids. Very well equipped with all necessary kitchenware. We visited Azpeitia during festive week and parking car required some creativity. Be prepared to be waken up by marching musicians along old city at 9am on Sunday. It was fun though.
