Thia is a wonderful villa.
Thia is a wonderful villa. The area is lovely, so beautiful, nice and quiet, some lovely restaurants 5 minute drive away and several supermarkets also 5 minute drive and the beach just at the bottom of the hill only a few minutes drive. It is very hilly so I would definately recomend a car. The villa itself is beautiful, lovely outside area and pool, great view. The inside is even nicer than the photos, really well kitted out, all little extras like salt and peper and dishwashing things etc etc thought of, and lovely thoughtfull bottle of wine in the fridge. The only thing to note is that this villa is split in two so upstairs is like a 2 bed appartment and so is downstairs, the stairs are outside. With 4 teenagers this worked perfectly for us. The host was so responsive and kind and really went above and beyond for us, we are so grateful and cannot wait to return.

Town of Benissa is a long way away from the beach of Cala de...
Town of Benissa is a long way away from the beach of Cala de la Fustera... often also talked about as Benissa Beach. It's not! However, Benissa is lovely, as are surrounding towns of Calp(e) and Xalo.

I liked the location very much and cleanliness of the house, pool and gardens. There are plenty of places where we could eat within a 15 minutes drive and for any other shopping needs there is an ALDI only 4 minutes down the road. Unfortunately, without a car, you'll struggle to move around. You could obviously call a taxi/uber and order home delivery food, but the location is not quite within walking distance from beach or other facilities, and with it being on top of the hill, even if you walk down, the walking back up can be quite exhausting.

A wonderful Spanish town. Not to touristy.
A wonderful Spanish town. Not to touristy. The people (who we met) were wonderful and welcoming, from shop owners and workers to the cafe and Restaurant people.
One local man, when we were lost, took us 8 miles, out of his way to an office that we had to get to. Thank you who ever you are.
We were welcomed into a fiesta and had a wonderful time.
Don't just stick to in town, the countryside around Benissa is beautiful working countryside.

safe, welcoming spanish village. All amenities that you could wish for. Free busses to the beach and municipal swimming pools.
lots of play areas for young children. 10 mins from calpe and 10 mins from moraira both have beautiful golden sandy beaches and as many restaurants as you can ever imagine. we stayed in august and hate the hustle and bustle of tourists so to stay in the village and just dip in and out of the major towns around us was the perfect balance.

We really enjoyed our stay in Benissa.
We really enjoyed our stay in Benissa. The coastal portion is a quiet retreat; it is 3 minute walk from Algi market a very nice supermarket with all essentials, great wine choice and fresh meat counter. Also near by (2-3 min walk via front costal path with some stairs) is Madala beach club which is stunning and very tasty restaurant and Beachclub La Fustera, also a very nice smart casual lunch restaurant.
Moraira is 15 minute drive north along coast and Calpe is ten minute drive south along coast. We did not hire a car; it would be useful to have done so and there is a big drive way at the house for free parking. The roads are good quality with good views.

"Personal touch" - family run hotel that feels more like visiting friends who happen to have a large luxurious house.
Perfect for what we needed weekend gateway away from kIds.
Peter and Vanessa have a true commitment to quality. I am impressed by the fact that when they need to go away they simply close their place rather then relying on someone who could run it in their absence risking not meeting their standards. It really feels not primarily about money but a labour of love....

We stopped here for the night with my wife while switching routes between Alicante and Alcalali. Hotel staff was very welcoming and spoke great English. Room was great and value for money was spot on! I would highly recommend staying here to anyone who stops by Benissa. Also next door to the hotel is a great breakfast place run by a british gentleman! You will not be disappointed!

The hotel suprised us with the hospitality of the staff, their kindness, as well as equipment and comfort provided by the accommodation. It is and ideal place to stay for those, who are looking for a peace and silence. Last but not least, the restaurant services provided by the hotel were amazing, one would not expect such a high quality of gastronomy at this place.

A perfect place to chill and relax, wonderful peace / quiet, amazing hosts, delicious and original breakfasts ( different daily) easy to get into Benissa for evenings Help with bookings for dinner and advice for where to head. If you going to area between Alicante and Valencia - simply stay here! If you don’t need a busy town nightlife you’ll not regret it.
