Benidorm has such a variety of night life that there is something for everyone. It has a great beach, fab shopping in the old town, crazy nightlife or quiet restaurants with beautiful food. Lots for children too. Its a very flat area so easy to get around.

Old town and Poinente Beach were a more relaxed and picturesque area and within walking distance of apartment. Much nicer atmosphere with lots of good food in particular Tapas Alley, lots of families out for Halloween. Better areas to visit for a mixed age group of ladies

We did a 3-night stay and had a number of bucket-list places we wanted to see. We managed to do all of them plus a tram ride into Calp despite hideous weather. If you are looking for a cheap, fun weekend where everybody is out for a great time, then Beni is the place. The Old Town is lovely, relatively quiet and full of narrow streets with some excellent shopping and tapas but the action happens on the Avinguda Alcoi (Alcohol Avenue). Walk along from the Old Town and back (about 4km) along Levante beachfront and people watch, stop for a pint or a snack or shop. We were really impressed with Benidorm, it was super-clean and had the most incredible fun vibe about it!

where we stayed was the Spanish side near the old town better if you want a relax holiday you can walk to the new town to find all the hip bars etc we like it as i could rent a mobility scooter which was from el punto mobility rent what a great service free delivery and collection and very cheap the bar prices are nearly the same as the UK which i found very bad but if you want a good holiday then you expect to pay eat at the places away from the front as there are a good few also the old town i eat where the Spanish eat better food for your money

Benidorm had an undeservedly bad reputation for a long time! Thank goodness that’s changing. It is the kind of place you can have whatever type of holiday you want. Quiet and family orientated on the Poniente side, relaxing and cultural in the Old Town and party central in the New Town. It is big enough that one doesn’t interfere with the other, small enough that you can partake in all three, if that’s your thing.
It has amazing restaurants and bars, exciting clubs for the night owls. And the beaches.. WOW!

Something for Everyone. Nightlife like Café Benidorm with good acts as well as Talk of the Town and Sinatra's. All free to get in. reasonable prices for drinks.
Daytime Tiki Beach for the younger one and the Daytona as well as the KU bar. All on the front.
The old town has countless Spanish Tapas Bars. A must to see a bit of Spain.
Take a Number 10 Bus to Altea 1.30euros about 40mins. Good sightseeing. Have lunch and then walk to Albir. about 2 Miles along the coast then a Bus to benidorm or a Taxi for 10 euros.

Wer stayed in the old town to avoid all the famous rowdieness of the main strip where all the high rise hotels are - deliberate choice but I am sure youngsters would be happy there. The beach is lovely.

If your looking for full on action then you need to book a hotel in new town. If your wanting adult atmosphere (with out kids, 18-25yr olds) the old town is the place to book. The Queens Hotel is right in the heart of old town & can get quite noisy!

Benidorm has something for everybody - it sometimes gets a bad rep and can be seen as just a party place, but there is so much more to do. I don't drink alcohol and I loved the place!!
The old town is absolutely beautiful and lots to do there. Between beaches, shops, restaurants, bars. It gives you the real authentic Spanish culture experience. Very easy to get around.
If you are in to keeping active there are many options - whether you walk the prom, rent out bikes, or hike up to La Cruz de Benidorm. We spent one of the mornings walking up to La Cruz and you can see the whole city from there - a fantastic viewpoint.
If you want to get out of the big city for a day there is a daytrip to Altea, Guadalest and the Algar Waterfalls - it's very close and we visited the 3 places in a matter of hours!
Levante Beach is amazing and massive so not too crowded. There are endless restaurants and bars to choose from. You can make it as chilled out or wild as you want it!!

It's a nice location to spend a beach vacation, has a lot of narrow streets in the old town, you can find anything you need from food, shops, transportation. Nearby very nice places to visit, plus a tram that can take you to Alicante. Altea, and other beached arround.

Easy to walk the whole Levante beach and so much to see and do. I've never seen it this full at the end of September and that is better than any review I could write. The scenic coastal tram to Alicante was a wonderful experience, Every meal we had was excellent though some research was done. I reccommend Vincents for Breakfast and Sunday Lunch. Turmeric and Indian Garden, Rays Fish & Chips though there are many others.

Very pleasantly surprised.
We visited fully intending to avoid The Strip with the Stag/Hen/Belly buster breakfasts but were concerned that it might still be a bit like that - we were wrong!
Benidorm is clean, friendly, a complete jumble of people from all walks of life. Great mix of Nationalities, and good waiting/serving staff wherever we went.
The sea was warm, clean and calm. The beaches were clean and not too crowded, they do get a bit busier on Friday, through the weekend as local people use them (a good sign in my book)
Excellent tapas, sea food and steaks. Wonderful Rioja - white and red.
There is an above average number of disability buggies - obviously a thriving hire business in the town - so watch your heels!
We simply did beach and relax but there is history to be seen in the town and close by, we were recommended Altea (10 mins bus ride) as an alternative.

Benidorm is a nice place for walking along the beach and swimming, but I didn’t find it particularly special. The beaches and sea are similar to many other coastal areas in Spain, with nothing that really stands out. I also expected to find better Spanish cuisine, but the quality of the restaurants was quite average and there were few memorable dining experiences. Overall, there aren’t many attractions or unique places that make you want to stay for a long time. In my opinion, 3–4 days are enough to enjoy Benidorm, and even a week is the absolute maximum. After that, there isn’t much else to see or do.

After 30 years of being a holiday snob, I finally succumbed to Benidorm as a cheap Short haul weekend getaway with my husband. I feel I’ve wasted 30 years in avoiding this amazing place. The beaches are superb and the place is exciting and not what I expected at all. This is now our second trip to Benidorm and I will certainly be going back at least annually from now on.

There really is something for everyone!! We love the Old Town,tapas alley and Pointete beach!! The new town is an eye opener!! Love the tribute acts, def worth at least one night there

Technically you’re quite a bit from Benidorm here so if you really want to see more of Benidorm then book to stay in it. This resort is Cala Finestrat, it’s really relaxed and some great little bars and restaurants, however until mid June it closes down around 11.30-12.00. We’ve stayed in Benidorm lots of times, would recommended it, take from it what you want, Old Town or New Town, they’re very different but lots of entertainment and beaches are good.

We were on the strip we liked our location but very noisy and busy and perhaps a quieter area for some might be better. All food outlets were good. Good British bakeries. Excellent Indian restaurant at the end of Avenue de Filipinos.
Easy to get around. We had a 5 year old with us and think the beach area was lacking for things to do for her. However found an excellent arcade with a bowling alley. Benidorm Palace was excellent entertainment and food.

Benidorm is very convenient for holiday makers, it caters for all ages with a vast concentration of entertainment ,places to eat and drink, it is very well policed and you feel safe. the police presence is highly visible with zero tolerance for trouble makers, it is spotlessly clean, affordable and easy to get around on foot or with public transport and the shopping is superb from the Markets to the High Streets, the beaches are pristine and the vibe is incredibly friendly across the spectrum of the venues.

I was apprehensive about Benidorm due to its reputation. We had an amazing time. There is so much to do and see if you are willing to get up and go explore. We did 1. The cross 2. Day trip to Valencia 3. A show a Benidorm Palace. 4 walk to end of poniente to the name sign. 5 Tram to Altea then walked to Albir and bus back to Benidorm. 6. Balcon visit. 7. Beach day at poniente. ….. pool day, world cup, Gaa and lots of eating and hydration breaks.
There were other things we thought about but didn’t have the time. Calle Gerona (old town end) was Our favourite spot. Lots of lovely restaurants and 2or3 bars.

As expected a busy, noisy turist city, the Ponent beach is superb and the surrounding restaurants and cafe are great. Orno Pizzeria is absolutely delicious. A walk along the beach to Mirador del Castell is definitely worth it, busy place but such lovely views. Gran Bali Hotel viewpoint is expensive and not worth the visit, unless the bar is open and you can stay a while. There are many attractions in the area, Mundomar is lovely, Aqualandia if you like water parks (most rides are for older children and adults) and the Fonts de l’Algar definitely worth a day trip. El Castell de Guadalest has beautiful views over the reservoir, but is a quick trip overall.

Not a relaxing holiday we did a lot of walking, as we were on a 60th birthday it was long enough 5 nights ,if its nightlife pub restaurant and a very busy town then this is the place to be ,I would say like a lot of places you need to take care when going back to your hotel especially if you are leaving the strip there are a lot of groups of girls and men targeting people that may have had a few especially if you are alone .I would say there is a beautiful beach for relaxing if that's your thing and quiter places to eat and drink away from the strip area

Love it or hate it. Benidorm is what you make of it. There are so many different places to see and things to do for all ages and abilities. The beaches are so clean considering the amount of people that use them. New Benidorm or the old town whichever place you prefer you are going to have a fantastic time. Make sure you have your walking shoes on. Mobiliy scooters are available for those that may need them.

Benidorm is lovely. We liked the Old Town, very nice to walk around the bars, cafes and beach close by. A mixture of people from older couples, to young couples, groups of friends, male and female. No trouble, just very relaxed. Good bars with music.

First time in Benidorm and we all loved it. Music venues everywhere and quieter places if that's what you prefer. Went in May so was busy but not too over crowded. Beaches (new and old Benidorm) are lovely sandy beaches. Plenty of beach bars and restaurants along the promenade. Didn't use any buses but there seemed to be plenty of them. Most things were walkable.

This hotel was fabulous. Amazing staff and great location beside the beach and old town. The staff always went over and beyond. We were a group of 15 ranging from age 80 to 20 celebrating a 60th birthday and we all had the best time here. The hotel was so so clean and there was always plenty of variety in the resturant. We were all inclusive and it was amazing. We will definitely be back. Thankyou Los Alamos and all the staff for the cake, the balloons and for making our stay so special. We didnt want to leave.

Lovely hotel based in the old town side of Benidorm. Excellent value for money. The room was spotless, a decent size with plenty of storage and the see view from the balcony was amazing. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom was well equipt with a good shower. Roof top sunbeds and pool were a great additional touch. Staff were very helpful and the luggage storage room was really useful facility. Breakfast choice was very good.

Fantastic location in the old town and just 3 mins walk from Tapas Alley. Staff where great and my room was a good size, very clean the shutter/blinds made for a good nights sleep. Bathroom was nice and clean and the water pressure was good

Immaculate hotel in a fantastic location in the old town with stunning views over Benidorm. Staff were very friendly and the breakfast was wonderful with so much choice. Loved eating on the terrace overlooking the sea and the cold tub on the roof terrace was a real treat.

Location was perfect as we love the old town of Benidorm, it was also close to the beaches. Plenty of bars and restaurants in the area. Hotel staff were friendly and helpful and the price was very competitive.
