A very traditional rural hotel yet not far from the main roads and beach. We were only there for one night and were the only guests in the hotel but Rosalina and Alberto made us feel so welcome like we were visiting friends. We were allocated a room at the front of the hotel which had an enclosed balcony and lovely views across the fields towards the mountains. The public rooms are nicely decorated ,cosy, warm and welcoming. There is a bar where you just write down your drinks and pay at checkout. There are snacks available and for dinner we had homemade soup, anchovies, croquettes, a variety of local cheeses, with a nice red wine which was an excellent price, and for dessert a rice pudding. All very tasty and fresh and cooked by Rosalina. Breakfast is served, not a buffet, and again was tasty and fresh. When we checked out Rosalina gave us so much information about places to visit and a bit of history about the places too which was very much apreciated. A lovely rural hotel.

Location beautiful and peaceful. Host very helpful, great cook and very attentive. Thoroughly recommend, especially if you like to be of the beaten track.

Really great property, nice location & super clean

historic and stylish building/ room, natural & quiet surroundings. exceptionally friendly and helpful service team. we felt like at home.

The scenery, the room, the hospitality, the food. Everything.

The location is amazing lovely town and the hotel is in great condition Staff are attentive, brilliant continental breakfast, and so much variety. We stayed for one night with children. And when we checked out we were given a box of local cakes.

Location was right on our cycle route. Communication was great. Room was very clean and super comfy. They allowed us to park our bikes in the entrance hall. Anyone on a cycle tour knows how important this is!

Fantastic location right on a beautiful beach. Our room had the wonderful view. Good range of Spanish food in the restaurant. P.lenty of close parking.

The owners were extremely helpful with our journey on the Camino de Santiago, going above and beyond any expectation. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a great place to stay with wonderful people taking an interest in their guests. Wonderful home-cooked breakfast!

Very helpful staff. Arrived during siesta time and food was provided for us while we waited to go to the local and excellent restaurant for dinner.

This place is an absolute gem! Recently opened after a total renovation. Beautifully decorated rooms, modern but still with Spanish charm, very clean. Jose and his wife who own the hotel are incredibly welcoming and were quick to reply on WhatsApp before our stay, and allowed flexible check-in and check-out times. We also enjoyed breakfast at a good price. Great location for someone hiking Pico de Europa, surrounded by beautiful mountains. Definitely recommend this place!

Superb breakfast and Elena is the ideal host

Helpful staff, large room, powerful shower, central location in town. A big bonus was the heater in room.

We stayed here in April with friends while walking the Camino del Norte. The rooms are new (or newly refinished), clean, and nicely furnished. The owner is very hospitable and helpful. We ate a simple, tasty dinner and good breakfast as well at Rincon de Yaxu. Highly recommend!

Lovely village, very pretty coastline. Wonderful breakfast, catering well for GF. Nice restaurants in the village.

Modern,clean & comfortable !

This is a truly wonderful place to stay! The house has been recently renovated, the rooms are lovely, and the bed is very comfortable. Set in a small village, it is wonderfully peaceful and truly idyllic. The hosts are exceptionally warm and always ready to help. Breakfast can be served outside, offering views of a gorgeous landscape. You can also sign up during the day for a delicious dinner if you prefer not to drive out again. We would definitely come back and can recommend this place!
