It is very close to the airport, there is a restaurant if your flight is a late one. Super helpful lady at the reception, we could leave our luggage for a week - we did a cycling tour. Comfortable, clean. Great stop for one night.

I liked very much the rooftop restaurant where the breakfast is also served. The breakfast was abundant and of good quality. Freshly pressed orange juice is also served for breakfast. I liked very much the gym and spa facilities. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Early check-in was also possible. The location is excellent. The room was huge and also the interior height of the room was very high. There was USB port next to the bed to charge the mobile phone. The hallway is also very spatious with lots of natural light and sofas to rest.

This a great hotel. Newly renovated using beautiful materials, it is so comfortable and lovely. The location is perfect: it's in a quiet area so sleeping is no problem, but every tourist site is just a short walk away. There is a lovely terrace on the top of the building with a great view. We stayed in a hotel-type room but they have a larger two-bedroom apartment-type room for longer stays Getting to meet the owner was a real treat. He is so proud of the hotel, and rightly so. The building has been in his family for many generations and he lovingly renovated it and did a great job. Plus, he is so welcoming, we feel like we made a new friend. We liked Faro but loved Solar Mendoca.

Great location. Less than 5min to the Chapel with bones and less than 15min to Old Town with all touristic attractions. In the same time located with fast and easy access to the in/out of the City without hustle driving. Possibility of parking on site. Super friendly and nice Staff, helping with parking arrangement, dining recommendations and other helpful info.

My teens and I loved this gem of a hotel - it’s chic but more shabby chic/old world than modern, however everything very clean and friendly, very helpful staff. Our beds were very comfortable! Directly opposite the beach and the restaurant is very good value with tables overlooking the lagoon in the evening was perfect.
