We had a wonderful time in Lisbon in September 2018. Used Uber to get around, and the wonderful, clean, safe subway. Our hotel was 15 seconds from the subway stop, very convenient. Loved our hotel, Hotel White, small boutique hotel. Rooms were a good size, with comfortable king size beds. Nice bathroom, very clean, with really excellent shower. Everyone who worked there was extremely pleasant and helpful. Great buffet breakfast was included in the room rate. There was a computer in the lobby available for guests to use. We stayed here for three nights at the beginning of our trip, and then again for one night at the end of our trip. We rented a car and drove all over Portugal, the roads are great. We had bought some paintings in Lisbon, and decided to leave them, with some extra clothes, at the hotel so we didn't have to drag them with us on our driving tour. The hotel kindly stored our things and had everything there for us when we returned. I can not say enough good things about this 4 star hotel. Lobby is small, but bright and comfortable. Everything is white and light and lovely. I would stay there again should I ever return to Lisbon, and recommend it to friends and family.
Our choice of hotel : My Story Hotel, Lisbon, was one of the best decisions we made. Apart from the excellent location & accommodation, the front desk manager of the hotel really made the difference to our stay in Lisboa. He suggested how we could make the most of our five day stay there; where we should go, where to visit, where to eat, where to meet the locals, what tour group to use for e.g. a days outing from Lisboa, et al. We thoroughly enjoyed wonderful Lisboa on our first visit to Portugal and hope to return in the near future.
Lisbon is one of my favourite European Cities - more relaxed, friendly and authentic than Barcelona - but still not an overly busy "business" city like Madrid. It did however seem busier than previous years as more people chose to avoid some of the more troubled destinations in favour of "safe" Portugal. The danger is now that it will attract the same issues as Barcelona in the form of pick pockets etc... Sadly we did have all our Euros stolen from our room.while staying in Down town Lisbon - so Portugal now needs to catch up with the rest of Europe and install CCTV and better security in hotels, restaurants etc...
Very comfortable beds, large rooms, toiletries are nice. Breakfast in bed is great value, order for x1 as get lots. Room on 5th floor overlooking pool was pretty good view. Pool Bar service, food & drink was great - impressed with the quality of the burgers. Concierge very helpful. We arrived at Lisbon airport to Taxi strike - Pay the 39 Euro for chauffeur airport transfer, it's well worth it, it's like mini tour guide plus get special treatment and freebies in car. Disappointed with x1 bottle free water during our stay, free tea not replenished daily even though member of Discovery Programme. Went to Sky Bar had to wait 30 minutes for a cocktail (too long) in seated area though not a busy night. Still it was one of the best tasted. Bar service was much quicker.
Lisbon has so much to offer, lots of places provide extraordinary views, the Castle is worth seeing. Tram 28 route is a thrill ride, up and down the hill and takes you around the centre, so it does the trick for tourist. Food isnt anything amazing, fish and chips is probably the main meal deal you get out of Lisbon. Nice walk along the beach, towers the Tower, exceptional view again! Definitely worth the trip, 3 days is a perfect lenght. I would definitely recommend staying at Epic Sana Hotel in Lisbon, hreat deal through booking.com, 5*hotel with a spa, fantastic hotel, worth every penny!!
The friendliness of the people the great food and the ease of getting around and value for money overall. Populi restaurant is a must and the waiter ( think his name was Ramon) was very helpful with the choice of dishes and his knowledge of them Also the restaurant in our hotel was fantastic ( The Beautique Hotels Figueira ) Well worth buying the all inclusive travel card on the train/trams & Metro for €6 per day as the one tram ride can cost almost half that per trip
This was the best hotel we stayed at during our vacation in Portugal. Beautiful hotel, super clean, beautifully designed and decorated, very spacious room and great staff. We landed at 7am from Toronto and asked if we could check in earlier after a long trip and 2 children, as soon as we arrived at the hotel our room was ready at 8am. We were able to have a good rest:). The breakfast was delicious and the wine selection was really good. We would definitely come back and stay at this hotel again. Thank you Inspira!!! We had an amazing stay :)
It's the best possible location in Lisbon. Next to the park, where all city buses, hop on bus, and busses to airport are stop. On one side you got main street in city which take you to historical centre on other you got business center. Hotel is good, extremely helpful and nice staff,, nothing is a problem. I arrived at 11 and could go straight to my room without any extra fees even if room should be ready at 14. Rooms is very clean, breckfast nice with good choice.
The location was second to none, great restaurants and shopping right on our doorstep. We stayed in the suite which was a great size and super comfortable. The breakfast was the best choice I’ve ever had in any 5 star hotel and the girls serving us were so pleasant and helpful. The staff on reception were very pleasant and welcoming and answered any of our queries regarding tours, taxis etc. Well done Teatro Boutique and Thank you 😊
We loved everything. The rooms were a bit small but it’s what u would expect in the neighborhood. It’s a fantastic location and the restuarant Bastardo was amazing. The Concierge was so helpful with everything for us, it was our first time in Lisbon they helped us with our dinner, sights and everything in general Nuno and Jorge were the best. We love this hotel.
The location is great. The staff, especially Edmir ( I hope that I got his name correctly) and Igor, are helpful and responsive, having quickly addressed my concerns about the air conditioner. The breakfast, which is offered at the nearby hotel that runs this casinha, is the best among all hotels at which I have stayed in Lisbon and Portugal in general
The service is very friendly and helpful. The room was clean and comfortable. Although the place is around 3-4km from the centre, I would choose it again for my next visit to Lisbon. The reason is the service and value for money. The room price is not cheap but way more reasonable than the hotels in the city centre.
The staff was fantastic! Thank you to Daniela for welcoming us and giving us great addresses in Lisbon. Also, one of the best breakfasts I’ve had in a hotel—fresh squeezed juices, selection of homemade jams, homemade cakes, eggs on demand, great selection of teas, and more...
One of the best hotels I've stayed in. This hotel is reason enough to visit Lisbon. The hotel is clean, modern, practical and the friendly staff can't do enough to make you feel welcome and help you. The location is ideal for exploring Lisbon.
Great location! In the heart of Lisbon! Literally in front of probably the best portuguese cinema, that being “Cinema São Jorge”. Many metro stations close to the hotel. Pretty quiet, providing a good night of sleep. Good WiFi and AC.
Excellent quality stay. We thoroughly recommend this hotel it has best of both worlds , it had quality hotel rooms with quality self catering facilities. For a stay in Lisbon city centre close to everything this is the place to stay.
It was one of the best hotels I’ve ever been to, super clean in best part of lisbon . Staffs are very nice, i had a problem with safe in my room and they changed my room very fast.
It's the best hotel I have ever stay in Europe, luxury, warm, comfortable, helpful staff ， good location city centre, everything just perfect,I will miss here
One the best hostel in Europe that I have been. Everything is very clean and organized and the towels provided smells so good. Is a place similar a 5 star hotel.
The perfect hotel to stay if you want to discover Lisbon! Great location and 5 stars comfort :)
I liked all apart from the breakfast
Value for money and great Location!!!
Great hotel with a great and competent staff. Always smiling and happy to help you
Fantastic renovation and excellent staff . Lovely atmosphere. Quiet and peaceful in the heart of the city. Very enjoyable breakfast and beautiful public rooms . Super comfortable bedroom.
Great location within walking distance to many sights, shopping, restaurants and transportation. We were given a good size modern decor room. The bathroom was also a good size. It was located at the back so it was quiet. We liked the fact we could darken the room at night with black window shutters. We slept well in the comfortable bed. The buffet breakfast was plentiful and you could order different hot egg dishes. The staff was very friendly and super helpful.
Very clean hotel, great breakfast, perfect for a night at the airport
