The staff are more than accomodating, and the price is pretty fair considering the size of room and the number and quality of in-house offers (pool, breakfast, restaurant, bar, evening entertainment)

The hotel is in an absolutely perfect location—right in the center, with everything within easy walking distance. It’s very cozy, very clean, and well maintained, and the staff are friendly. The only minor drawbacks were that the mattress is a bit firm, and the breakfast selection isn’t very large.

The property itself is in a nice and convenient location. Very clean rooms with balcony. All of the stuff are very nice and are glad to help you.

I chose this hotel for my husband's birthday. Everything was perfect - from the room we got to the welcoming staff who made the birthday celebration even more memorable. A beautiful location with a great view, good service and delicious food, everything was more than perfect!

The room was big, always really clean and the ocean view was very nice. The breakfast was tasty with a lot to choose from.

The Pestana was really excellent in all ways. We were really well looked after, even bringing breakfast to our room for no additional cost when we wanted to get up early for a sunrise hike. It was a beautiful and cheerful place to relax after busy day. It was excellent value with half board and I would love to go back.

Location is great in the centre of old town, beautiful atmosphere at the lobby and amazing terrace with views of Funchal!

We had quite a lot of luggage, but the hotel kindly allowed us to check in earlier than the official time. The view of the city and the square in front of Funchal’s cathedral was absolutely wonderful! The reception staff were attentive and welcoming. Breakfast was simple yet tasty, included in the price, and had a lovely atmosphere. The hotel team was always ready to help – for example, if you need a kettle, you can just ask at the reception. I would happily stay a few more nights in this hotel, enjoying its atmospheric rooms with beautiful views of the narrow streets of old Funchal.

The proper was very good value. Very quiet. It was in the middle of old town. It was very easy to approach sightseeing sites. There was a small kitchen. It was very good for preparing easy meals. Strong and hot shower. Fatima and Precela were very helpful. We had a very good experience.

Everything! Staff were great and location was 30 seconds to the old town with a ton of restaurant options. All the staff from the front desk to Carlos and Jose in the bar were extremely friendly and great at their jobs! Would definitely stay here again.

The room was nice with a very big bathroom. Only had the chance to stay over the night as our flight got cancelled but it was very good and the staff was very friendly and helpful.

It was a very nice and cozy hotel room, with small details that helped us a lot. Our room and in general Caju hotel is very clean and organized. The ladies in the reception desk gave us a lot of infos about what we can do during our stay (special thank to that). For sure is a hotel that we would like to visit again. If you book there you should try the breakfast, it's delicious!

Great hotel, in the city center. Nearby there is a restaurant, shopping center. 5 minutes walk to the beach. Wonderful, kind and helpful staff. I advise everyone to visit this hotel!!!
