Everything, what’s not to like, great place, staff were excellent

was all good, the swimming pool was clean, and there is 2 pools, outdoor and indoor pools, the rooms are big and nice, even its not really new, we have got a partial sea view even we didn't book it. Breakfast we didn't have, so i don't know. The stuff were nice and helpful.

Room was fabulous, lovely friendly happy staff very helpful.

Location was great,rooms are dated but clean and just what we needed as we are barely in our hotel on vacation

I recently stayed at Quinta do Monte] and had an exceptional experience! The breakfast was absolutely outstanding—there was a wide variety of delicious options to suit all tastes, and everything was fresh and well-prepared. It truly set a positive tone for the rest of the day. The location of the hotel couldn’t be better. It was conveniently situated near Monte Palace and botanical gardens , making it easy to explore the area without hassle. What stood out the most was the customer service. The staff went above and beyond to ensure that my stay was comfortable and enjoyable. They were always friendly, attentive, and ready to assist with any requests. I highly recommend Quinta do Monte to anyone looking for a fantastic stay with great amenities, a prime location, and outstanding service. I can’t wait to visit again!

Beautiful quiet place with nice-connected parts, well maintained garden, great breakfast. Awesome exit to the ocean and the pool right next to it.

I chose this hotel for my husband's birthday. Everything was perfect - from the room we got to the welcoming staff who made the birthday celebration even more memorable. A beautiful location with a great view, good service and delicious food, everything was more than perfect!

The staff was the best. Everyone was kind all the time. Maybe the phone conversations were not best and did not give me solutions I was looking for but otherwise all the people are lovely and make the stay even more relaxing and soothing. Also the style of the building, very classy with use info noble materials.

The location of the hotel is perfect, right in the middle of the old town. The building looks amazing, especially with the lights on at night, and the rooftop with its bar is perfect. I didn't get the chance to try the restaurant, but there was some live music on the terrasse on Saturday night. We had an ice cream listening to it, it was great ! The breakfast is really good and the room as beautiful as the rest of the hotel. Would definitely stay there again !

The room was nice with a very big bathroom. Only had the chance to stay over the night as our flight got cancelled but it was very good and the staff was very friendly and helpful.

Caju is a high quality modern boutique hotel. The location in the centre of Funchal is highly touristic, Caju is unique but wouldn't appeal to everyone The staff were excellent and providing some great recommendations for local restaurants that are not typical for tourists. The quality of everything was excellent and the Caju restuarant particularly good for vegan, quality, fresh food. There is a small gym but no other communal facilities

Location is perfect. The staff was nice, polite, and helpful. It’s basic, but it’s a 2* hotel and one of the cheapest options in Funchal. It has a beautiful terrace. It also offers breakfast, which looks basic (I didn’t have it, just saw it), but again, for a 2* hotel it’s enough and a nice bonus if you are a breakfast person. They responded immediately to messages. We were allowed to store our luggage there. There is a big supermarket nearby. Book it.
